One of a few useful tips I've heard for being a better writer for comic strips: use visual language. And that is how "Dried-up Cat Turd" made its way into today's strip. Once you read it, you can't help but see it in your head. You're welcome. 😆
As far as weddings go, I can't say I've been to a huge number of them, but every one I have been at had excellent food. Whether they were Mexican weddings, Jewish weddings, Mongolian weddings, or your typical American weddings, they all had receptions with a kick-ass spread. I have no idea if this is the norm or just that I've been really lucky so far. I've stuffed my face at just about every one.
Well, that is, except for my own. Don't get me wrong the food was great, but stuffing your face just short of the point of a food-coma (just like making wildly excessive use of the bar) isn't the kinda thing a guy does on your own wedding day. The why of that should be self-explanatory one would think... 😉
