Happy Valentine's Day!
Apologies for the long absence, but my annual holiday family visit to the USA (as well as the wild crypto markets) sucked up all free time. But I'm now back home, and ready to get the comics churned out again. At least until the next vacation or cryptocurrency rollercoaster takes place. 😏
As to Valentine's Day, I know flowers, roses, and/or chocolates are the standard gift for women, but after several years it just feels too much "same-old same-old". And it gets harder and harder to find something different, much less unique, each year.
My own go-to Valentine's Day thing to do (in addition to roses) is to cook something special for my wife, trying to make a different thing each year. Not the most creative idea, but better than the "same-old same-old". The upside to that is it shows a personal touch AND it's cheaper than going out. And if the family eats a somewhat restricted diet (low-carb in our case), it's often the ONLY option for a special meal. The downside? It requires knowing how to cook.
So for you young men out there, better get started on learning now rather than later. Much better to make your cooking mistakes early on and by yourself and NOT later when trying to impress your girlfriend... 😉
