This is a bring things up to date entry. The morning was slow moving. While the winds were relatively low, rowed to the wharf and continued on to the grocery store as well as the dear old NSLC's cannabis alley. That's my branding not theirs. 😉
Checked in with the wharf's office to ask about daily passes for boaters on moorings wanting access to showers and laundry. For ten loonies you can have both. They don't even mind if you wish to dock your vessel for the day so long as there is space.
Headed back to Makina and partook in some brownies and then gave a call to Stevens Boat Yard in Chester to see about getting some work done on Makina. They explained that they could not pull a full keeled boat due to the shallow depth of the marina yet recommended South Shore Marine in Gold River which is just adjacent Chester.
Did some Ashes of Creation gaming after recharging the batteries; which was followed by an early night.

Woke up very early to an overcast sky, so rolled over and slept until a little after 11:00. Nicely rested!
Got some laundry together and rowed in for a daily pass to showers and laundry. After a shower and with the laundry in the dryer headed out to the Laughing Whale for their yummy egg salad sandwich.
Dropped round the post office to see if a parcel from earlier in the summer ever made it to Lunenburg. The best they could tell me is that it is in holding in Ontario at the moment and to call customer service. Returned to pick up my clean cloths and then it was back to Makina.
Had a napping YouTube binging kind of day. Maybe the brownies had a bit to do with the napping part. Got more active after the heat of the day.
Started to give some thought as to what work might be done to Makina before taking her south. With the list then South Shore Marine could be approached.
They are situated in Gold River which is in the top left of the chart map, below, which is showing the course from Lunenburg to Chester, Nova Scotia.
They will probably be closed until Monday so this will can be considered first draft.
