Headed to shore for a shower and some laundry. With my wash in the dryer headed to the Laughing Whale for a little breakfast and a wonderful little corner to internet in.
It saved me from the gruelling climb to the Town's Library with ample snacks as well.
Made it back to Makina by mid-afternoon for snacks and naps. With a fully charged laptop put in a bit more play of LOTRO before hitting the bunk.

Had a good sleep in and eventually started towards shore around 10:00. Something seemed off upon finding a number of fish heads in my dingy.
It appears it was being used as a dining booth by some seagull. It was only after starting towards shore that it was apparent that the mackerel were running.

This was the first time seeing them so active on the surface.
Made it back to the Laughing Whale for more LOTRO play and an online chat with my Daughter. Floated the idea of them joining me in Chester for Race Week. She said she would run it up the flagpole with my Son-In-Common-Law.
It turns out that he had been an LOTRO enthusiast and my Daughter suggested that we should get together for a session. Although it is good for solo play it would be great to have a session with the Kids and no doubt get lots of good tips from Bree.
As rain showers were expected for this afternoon, made my way back to Makina by about 13:30. Thought to get in this update before it officially becomes Nappy Time. 😁
