Sailing back to Lunenburg

The wind had died in the night yet not the swell. We were well tossed in our bunks. Suggested to Pierre that it was good sea training.

To prove the point of our bad choice of anchorage a fishing charter made a strait beeline for us while having morning coffee on deck to ensure we weren't in any trouble.

Her captain claimed in his 60 years he had not seen our open cove anchorage used for naught other than lobster posts.

We eventually set sail heading around the side of the island which we hadn't past and made our way to the mooring ball in Lunenburg again.

Sailing from Cross Island to Lunenburg

Once back in port we relaxed and suppered on a curry; after which Pierre caught up on his social media while my nose was buried in Lord of The Rings Trilogy which is my reading at the moment. The online game LOTRO has brought it alive for me again and it has been so long since reading it aloud to my daughter that there seems a newness to it.

It was not long before nodding off with my reading and a nicely un-tossed and uninterrupted eight hour sleep!
