Today was the first time that Klaus Schwab's famous line, of owning nothing yet being happy, rang home to me. It was when starting up an hourly rental from CommunAuto; who had recently made me a member. Although the car in question was shared throughout the membership, it was a nice new vehicle without the obligation of ownership. It made me happy! 😦
It had been on my mind to return to my boat, Makina, to pick up some required items which had been left onboard when bringing her ashore at East River Shipyards for the winter. My arrival at the car's location was a little before 9:00. Did a quick video documentation of it's condition at pick up. It was a nice ride as you can see in the vid below.

A pre-flight inspection
An hour later had me in East River, south of Halifax. That is where Makina will be sitting out the winter in a nice covered tent hanger.

Picked up a hardware crypto wallet, my old phone used in exchange verification, my winter jacket, my dear old Mother's urn which had ended up on the boat after our house sale last November and my power drill which will be used on a project with my Son-In-Common-Law who has to install a banister on the rear steps to appease the insurance company.

Returned back to town and found the kids were up and ready for some chores of their own. We drove out to the Access Nova Scotia to get them new IDs so as to be able to apply for membership with CommunAuto themselves. We also made a visit to a seasonal Halloween store where the kids picked up some treats for door knockers and costumes for themselves.
It was then back home to chill and do some gaming with the feeling of having checked off to items on that never ending list.
