Hi everyone, how are you? I want to share with you a short selection of photos I took during the Witness2025 fellowship. The photos are from three religious processions: the Virgin of Regla, Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre, and the Regla Parish Festival.
Being able to document these events was amazing, as I had never done this type of photography before. The best part was being able to blend in with the crowds to capture what was happening during those days and document the atmosphere surrounding the events.
I had the opportunity to receive mentorship from some great photographers from Cuba and from my fellow participants in Mexico, who helped and guided us in documentary photography. I hope you enjoy these photos. Best wishes!
Hola familia como están, les quiero enseñar una breve selección de fotos que hice durante la beca witness2025.
Las fotos son de 3 procesiones la de la Virgen de Regla, la Caridad del Cobre y Cabildo de Regla, haber podido documentar estos eventos fue increíble, ya que nunca había realizado este tipo de fotografía. Lo mejor de estas fotos fue la forma en que me mezclaba entre las personas para evidenciar lo que estaba sucediendo durante esos días y capturar con la cámara lo que sucedía alrededor de los eventos. Pude contar con la mentoría de grandes fotógrafos de la tierra y hermanos de México, que nos fueron ayudando y guiando a la hora de hacer fotografía documental.
