Hola comunidad de Hive. Mi nombre es Ivan Armenteros Oviedo, tengo 33 años. Estudié técnico en Informática e hice la Licenciatura en contabilidad y finanzas, actualmente trabajo en el Consejo Nacional de las Artes Plástica como especialista informático, donde desarrollo otras actividades como la fotografía y manejar las redes del centro junto a otros compañeros. Vivo en playa, Miramar, La Habana. Me gusta mucho ver películas y series, sobre todo de terror, veo anime, no he estado acostumbrado a leer y es algo que desde hace buen tiempo me estoy exigiendo. Conocí a Hive un día conversando con @muhammadhalim cuando recién acabamos la beca de fotografía de Witness2025. Me comentó sobre este mundo y me engancho lo vi emocionante y diferente a lo que habitualmente estamos acostumbrados en las redes sociales convencionales, al momento le dije que quiero saber cómo funciona y me invito a la escuelita Hive, donde @nanixxx me ayudo y me fue explicando cómo crear la cuenta. Empecé en la fotografía en el año 2018 en la academia Cabrales del Valle y desde ese tiempo he ido pasando por varios cursos que han sido impartidos por grandes fotógrafos. Llevo tiempo trabajando la fotografía documental pero no me quiero quedar solo ahí, y por eso actualmente he mostrado interés por la fotografía conceptual, en ambas aun sigo aprendiendo para mejorar cada día. Quiero agradecer la oportunidad de pertenecer a esta familia, mi objetivo es seguir aprendiendo y aportar a este mundo que es Hive, y la fotografía cubana continuar llevándola por nuevos caminos por el que estoy a punto de embargar.
Hello Hive community! My name is Ivan Armenteros Oviedo, and I'm 33 years old. I studied Computer Science and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. Currently, I work at the National Council of Visual Arts as an IT specialist, where I also engage in other activities such as photography and managing the center's social media accounts, along with other colleagues. I live in Miramar, a beach area of Havana. I really enjoy watching movies and TV series, especially horror ones, and I also watch anime. I haven't been in the habit of reading, but it's something I've been trying to incorporate into my life lately. I first learned about Hive while chatting with @muhammadhalim after we finished the Witness2025 photography scholarship. He told me about this platform, and I found it exciting and different from the usual social media platforms. I immediately told him I wanted to learn more, and he invited me to the Hive School. @nanixxx helped me and explained how to create an account. I started in photography in 2018 at the Cabrales del Valle Academy, and since then, I've taken several courses taught by renowned photographers. I've been working on documentary photography for a while, but I don't want to limit myself to that. That's why I've recently become interested in conceptual photography. I'm still learning in both areas and striving to improve every day. I want to thank you for the opportunity to be part of this community. My goal is to continue learning and contributing to Hive and to Cuban photography, helping it explore new paths that I'm about to embark on.
