Hello fellow Splinterlands players, I hope you are all okay and welcome back to my Splinterlands Blog where today I will be making another post to take part in this weeks challenges, it's that time of the week again to start with it, and because the Social Media Challenge already launched two days ago it's due time to make it to not miss the deadline like I did last week! ๐
So for the people following me, they already know I am playing in mostly Gold 3 and Gold 2 with a Silver level deck, and with some ups and downs it's going pretty well although my win rate lately is somewhat below 50%, I don't mind but it's always nice if it improves because that means better and more rewards.
Earlier this morning I was right there on the Gold leaderboard together with my friend @Estebam but then I met a lot of players with max decks again and I got kicked down to 2300 rating, I'll be back, just you wait!
It's going to take a while before I can push up to higher ratings again because now I have completely drained my battle energy, which was the purpose so nothing goes to waste and I can resume playing on Saturday early morning (it's a Thursday now)

This weeks Social Media Challenge is the same as last weeks:

The Bully in Gold League
There's one particular account that has been really destroying me, and this person has not one but FIVE accounts plus some others with different names, I'm sure other Gold players my level have the same problems, and it's a big reason my win rate isn't higher. ๐
It's not my intention to call this person out for misbehaving, if it's all manual play there's nothing wrong with anything this person is doing, I sometimes wonder if it's all manual play though, it is going to take a LONG time to play all those accounts, and they also play back to back (which is possible with multiple devices and different browser screens of course)
It's all max level Nidhogr teams, and I have yet to discover a good counter against Nidhogr at my own level let alone a max level team and I have come to a point that when this army of accounts gets online, I will log off.. it's only wasting my time and battle energy, I'll be back when they're asleep - hopefully ๐
Is this post made to wine about this? NOPE.. it's about sharing a battle when I finally, after so many defeats.. kicked it's ass for once, which makes my win rate against them probably about.. 2% ? ๐คฃ
I was like HAH! TAKE THAT! ๐
Sharing a Battle
So, the battle I saved to share for this post is a 80 mana battle, so really high but the choice of our cards are severely limited because of the Shades of Gray rule set, which allows neutral cards ONLY, I like to use Sheng Xiao for this rule set because the poison saved me more than once. It's easy to give up when we see certain names or card levels but I keep submitting my best teams, it's fun building teams around the rule sets and the limitations we get, and sometimes, I can beat the odds!
