It was a bright and beautiful morning in the city of Calabar, a city well known for its warmth and hospitality. Everyone was prepared and busy, eager to grace the special occasion of Little Miss Elsie. I had traveled a long distance to be part of this memorable day, and I arrived in Calabar on Friday. The family received me joyfully, and the excitement in the atmosphere showed how much they had been looking forward to the celebration.
Saturday was dedicated to preparation, and the entire household was in top gear. We visited the market, bought all the necessary food items, and ensured that nothing was left undone. The cooks, decorators, and other helpers were all set, and everything was put in place to make the day memorable.
Finally, the long-awaited D-day arrived. We woke up early, prepared ourselves, dressed Elsie beautifully, and arranged everything at home. The caterers had already taken the food to the reception ground, so together we left for the church. The event began, and the atmosphere was filled with songs of joy and a spirit of celebration. The Pastor prayed and dedicated Elsie to God, committing her life into His hands. Friends and family members testified of the goodness of God, and soon it was time to dance. The music team played wonderfully, and the whole congregation joined in singing and dancing with cheerful hearts.

After the church service, we took several photos, capturing the joyful moments before moving to the reception venue. There, everyone ate to their satisfaction, drank, and danced to the rhythm of good music. More photos were taken, goodwill messages were shared, and laughter filled the air.
Later in the evening, I returned home to refresh myself before stepping out again to visit some friends. We spent quality time together, and it felt like another round of celebration. As the day drew to an end and the sky became darker, I made my way back home with a heart full of gratitude. Indeed, it was a successful, colorful, and beautiful day that would always remain fresh in memory.
