We live in an unpredictable world because we do not know what tomorrow holds, but the truth is that as long as the world remains unpredictable, we still have hope in the life we live. In life, there are certain things that we are afraid of, and these fears, to some extent, make us sit up and work hard to overcome them.
Personally, one of my biggest fears in life is poverty. I do not know if there is anyone in this life who is not afraid of poverty. Poverty is not something that anyone should be happy about because it can lead a person into different lifestyles they never believed they could practice. Poverty has made many people do what they are not supposed to do under normal circumstances. One of the most painful and difficult lives to live is the kind where you see what you want to do but cannot do it because of lack of funds, you see what you desire but cannot buy it because you do not have the money.
So what I do is work hard to make money and look for other extra sources of income to help meet my needs. Saving and investing are also key steps I take to avoid poverty, and I strongly believe that God will make it work out for me.
Normally, money is not easy to come by, but we must do our best to work hard for it if we truly want to overcome poverty. Even after achieving success, we should not relax or become complacent, because the title of a “former rich man” is one name no one should ever wish to bear.
Another major fear I have is the fear of marrying the wrong person. Who you marry in this life has the power to make or mar your life, so one of the most important prayer points we should pray about is for God not to let us marry the wrong person. No matter the amount of wealth you acquire over the years, one wrong partner is capable of draining you and taking you back to square one, while a good partner can make you flourish, prosper, and be successful. As a young man, this prayer point should be among your first three prayer points.
But in all these, we must keep looking and observing while searching for a good life partner and praying for God’s guidance and direction. On the other hand, as you are looking for a good partner, you should also strive to be good yourself, because what is good for the goose is also good for the gander.
