We woke up that morning and could not step out because of the violence going on in the street, there was mass protest and vandalism of some public properties, I was so scared.
Later that evening, the street was dark and quiet as early as 7pm, it was not up to 10pm when we started hearing the sound of gunshots, it was so terrifying that by the following morning many people began traveling out of the state, innocent people were killed and some arrested, it was not a nice experience to behold.
The following morning, the president proclaim a state of emergency in the state and everything changed.
