From a tender age, they took care of you, fed you, and struggled to send you to school. They are your parents, your siblings, maybe even a few relatives.

Some went all out, under the rain and scorching sun, just to put food on the table and pay the bills, including your school fees and hospital bills when you were sick.

They faced countless problems because of you, endured shame, made sacrifices in silence, and kept going even when life gave them every reason to stop.

And as you grew up and watched them struggle, you realized you weren’t born with a silver spoon. Your prayer became, "God, bless me and lift me, so I can make my parents proud."

Your deepest desire was to rise and stand for those who stood for you when you couldn’t even crawl on your own. You wanted to be rich, not just for the sake of riches, but so mama would smile again.

But somewhere along the way, either out of desperation or a burning ambition, you did what you had to do, and you became wealthy.

Now you remember your original dream, to help those who once helped you. But the kind of wealth you acquired doesn’t permit you to lift them.

Is that really wealth?

You remember you wanted to make mama proud, but is mama proud? That is, if she’s still alive to see what you’ve become, and if she wasn’t the offering used to get there.

Yes, the money is there, the wealth has been made, But has it fulfilled the purpose it was meant for?

This might be a long message, and I may not have the perfect words, But read it, reflect on it, and do with it whatever you will.
