A portrait of Friendship

I am @ntul001 this is my first time posting in this group but i am really happy be here.And i want to share a little thing i know about photography.One of the beautiful things about photography is its ability to freeze not just a moment, but emotions. This picture was taken shortly after our final presentation a day filled with mixed feelings, laughter, relief, and reflection.The setting is our university's faculty block, a place we have walked through countless times sometimes in a rush, sometimes with fear of deadlines, and other times with hopes of making it.  But this time, we stood there not as students in transit, but as people crossing a finish line.What stands out in this shot is the contrast and harmony her bold, tree patterned attire full of life and color, and my plain, calm green. Two energies in one frame, yet balanced. That’s what made this worth capturing.Sometimes, it’s not the pose, but the story behind the posture. This picture says, We made it.One of the things that kept us going throughout this journey was the presence of good people friends who shared study materials, encouraged each other, and stayed up late helping one another prepare.  The bonds we formed weren’t just about schoolwork; they were rooted in shared struggle, late night gist after stressful classes, group presentations. Taking this photo with people who walked that same path made it all the more meaningful. We laughed, we struggled, we sometimes failed but we rose, and we helped each other rise. Defense day wasn’t just about proving what we knew it was a celebration of the strength we found in each other.Now that defense is over, the feeling is mixed a blend of relief, gratitude, pride, and curiosity about what comes next. But one thing is certain we are not the same people we were when we started this journey. We have grown. We have learned how to think deeply, how to manage time, how to persevere under pressure.  We have discovered our voice, sharpened our confidence, and unlocked potential we didn’t know we had. As we walked out of the defense hall, there was a quiet understanding this was more than a university requirement. It was preparation for life. We have faced academic storms and made it through. Now, we step into a new season ready to face bigger challenges, and ready to succeed.This moment wasn’t just a photo opportunity. It was a reminder that hard work pays off, that every late night and every rough day had meaning. We didn’t just complete our projects. We completed a chapter of life.I will forever grateful to everyone who contributed in one other either by cash gifts, materials just to see that I come out successful. All was made possible because of God's backing.
