It had been like forever since the last time I posted and while I wanted to use work as an excuse for that, I just wanted to share that, I did a little bit more growing up over the past few weeks.

Cute Clay Critters/ stuffs

I had been trying to reflect on how I will be proceeding with my clay tutorials that most of you guys love. While I was very honest about me considering this as a legit side hussle, I realized that it is not very reasonable for me. Making handmade items especially cute clay charms might seems cute even fun to watch and own. But the the truth is that, it takes quite a while to make them. With my day job as a nurse, managing my life, running errands, meeting up my other commitments and finding time to rest, relax and recharge, I can't possibly fit that in my schedule.

The truth is that, running an online business in itself is a full time job. There are a lot of things that were never mentioned like, doing inventory, customer service, shipping/ tracking your products and on top of that if you are a handmade store, making the products yourself. Its one thing to see me making just an item for fun, another to make this as my livelihood.

Organizing my life

This is my first time living independently. While I love the peace, space and liberty to do things the way I wanted them, that comes with a lot of responsibilities as well. Apart from me ensuring that I am making enough money to pay my bills- I am not just talking about rent but fees for utilities like water, phone bills, gas, groceries, electricity and whatever I needed to maintain a decent, acceptable living.

That's on top of making sure that I clean my place, empty the trash, clean my sheets, do my regular laundry- things which if you are living with your parents or someone else would have been easily be overlooked or not prioritized.

I am no stranger to doing these things but, I have only realized how important these things are recently.

Another thing that I had been doing lately is budgeting. I thought of myself as level headed person when it comes to spending my money until I recently started writing off my expenses- important and miscellaneous purchases.

I started writing my thoughts- in an actual notebook- not a fancy journal. I find that very reflective and really therapeutic considering how things are at work sometimes.

And maybe, maybe in the future I will share how I make those planner lay outs that made my life easier these days.........

Future Plans

Being off online for the past few weeks had made me reflect on what I really want to do. That would be investing more on my life- training, building up relationships, getting those skills that would help me to live better. I will still be posting my usual content.

But that would again depend on how things are on my side. I might be working on the same place still but, things are changing and I have to adapt to that.
