Hi hivers 👋, good morning to you all @family-friends community how are you doing today I hope you all have a wonderful night rest, Wishing you all a new and a productive week. Today I will like to with you'll about my experience with friends @spendhbd first hangout which i also participated in... meanwhile this is my first time posting here,am just a new hiver although it been months I joined the beautiful platform but haven't been able to make a post, therefore having explored wide in this good platform I choose to break my silence by sharing a beautiful moment I had in my first hangout with hive friends, please hope I am welcomed. On April 1st, 2025, was the first Hive meetup of the year took place in Aba, Abia State. The event was hosted by Happy Customer Supermarket, courtesy of @focusnow. This wasn’t just another gathering, it was an opportunity for Hivers in the city to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another. Over time, Happy Customer Supermarket has hosted numerous Hive-related workshops, all of which I haven't been able to attend. However, this time around,I chose and decides to out rules anything which can make me not to join so I did and I succeed because I know they surly be something I will benefits if I make it to be present because "there's no knowledge that is a waste" that's what I keep telling myself. A general meetup was important to bring together Hivers from all walks of life. The choice of venue was also strategic, as it allowed attendees to conveniently shop after learning about the @spendhbd community,I guess it's isn't against the community rules to share such experiences together with others over here maybe someone can also benefits so many things from what that was discussed on that day.
The event was started with @luchyl, a dedicated and passionate Hiver, taking the stage. She spoke about her journey on Hive over the past two years, captivating the audience with her experiences. I so much enjoyed her talks and experiences she shared about her hive journey so far especially with her emphasis on consistency, something I’ve personally struggled with due to how things maybe going in my life but i continue to work on.
She shared how she balances her work life with her Hive presence, ensuring neither one suffers or left out because there's a lot in the table which also needs to be given attention,She shared her methods with us, strategic planning, discipline, and prioritizing engagement. She also highlighted how setting achievable Hive goals, such as making daily posts or actively engaging with other authors, can help sustain a strong presence on the platform. Her speech was both relatable and inspiring, offering practical tips that we could all implement.
Next up was @ijelady, who built on the theme of consistency but approached it from a different perceptions, microblogging. She emphasized how microblogging can be a game-changer for those who don’t have time for long-form content. Instead of worrying about lengthy posts, Hivers can stay engaged, interact with others, and earn rewards by sharing short, valuable updates and information. This harmonized with many of us in attendance, as time barriers are a common challenge. Her insights shed light on how we can remain active without feeling overly whelmed.
One of the best parts of the meetup was the open discussion segment. Everyone had the chance to share their challenges, ask questions, and receive guidance from more experienced Hivers. The support and encouragement in the room were solid, making it clear that Hive is more than just a platform, it’s a community.
We also received a well customized cup written I LOVE HIVE
This cup will help to remember the enormous efforts we put in promoting this wonderful project. And we all believe that none of us is backing down because we have a great hope on hive blockchain, that is also one of the reasons of onboarding many people so that they will join us in the good project.
That has been one of the best memories i never wish to forget. Below are some of the pictures we take into to always remember the beautiful moment we spent together and to always hold on tightly in hive.
Thank you all for going through my post...that's all from me😁.
