This is my first every entry to the Freewritehouse. I finally have taken a step back from my other blockchain engagements on PeakD to spend some time dedicated to my passion of writing. I wrote this poem to describe the the connection I felt from this picture between the harsh struggles of life and how we all seek to find peace in the promise of possibility and admire the wonder and beauty that surrounds us everyday despite such hardship in that pursuit.

The Journey Of Hardship, Beauty, Promise & Wonder

Longing for comfort and a path to lead the way. Through the frozen isolation, lay the peace of destination, painted in a thousand shades of white and dazzling winter grey.

Where imagination, dreams and reality can all co-exist. A canvas of blur, the backdrop of the invisible spur, an icy breath-taking surround encaptured in the mist.

At the end of the gravel road, lay a place of tranquillity. Nostalgic enchantment of the mind, every journeyman hopes to find, etched in the shape of a cottage from the bare hands of ingenuity.

Home is where the heart is, it echoes through history like thunder. And when we hear that sound, shall we truly see what we have found, along the journey of hardship, beauty, promise and wonder.
