Splinters fighters of all locations, I am happy to present to you Blazebeard adventure as melee warriors from fire element on the battlefield.
I did not know that Merc could survive the hard environment in the arena dominated by Wild format warriors in action.
There were situations Merc could not bring much support to his team, so I found it interesting to share with you certain aspects of the unnecessary role that Blazebeard can play in your combination.

The rulesets have clearly presented the conditions required to develop antidefense units. It will be difficult to take out strong cards considering the rebirth ability activate on all cards.
## A. Strong defense on Merc Side
In the arena of the modern format, the two teams have powerful cards in the arena. Their potential to create damage was interesting to watch.
In the first two rounds, I could not imagine the team with Venka lose this battle.

This combination of fire warriors is so powerful that I could see the potential victory in this section of the arena. Oridum tanker is too powerful to leave his position quietly.
It was nice to see Bella protecting her team with the deflector shield. If it was not for this barrier to stop the “Blast”, the Abraxas power would be total in the arena.

The battle rage hard in the arena and no one was showing sign of weakness in this combat.

It was a long and exciting battle to watch during this exploration of Merc performance on the battlefield.
Venka and Hunger did their best to destabilize the enemy, but the resilience of Abraxas comrade maintained pressure on the enemy until victory.

On the next battle Blazebeard will get a more active role in the unit where his role is significant.

## B. Won the battle In Wild Format
I must confess that I was surprise to find Merc involve in many Wild format battle. He is a relatively new cards on the set, but his high value for the players who select Merc in their teams is outstanding.
Blazebeard had to wrestle against Agor dragon with double type of attacks. Katty in maximum level is not a summoner to play with in the highest league of competition.
Lorkus team was simple and patient in the role they get one after the other once they reach the front line.
It was nice to see Hunger weak attacks to destroy Katty backline. If Hunger and Merc was not in the arena Lorkus could not have accomplished this victory.

## C. BlazeBeard can hurt your win rate
Battles in the arena showed the encounter with serious warriors who played with the advantage the arena ruleset brings to their team
Here is the first combat where Merc discovered the backfire of his abilities on the strategy deployed by allied units.
* Earthquake and Incendiary do not go along well
The combat started with no much complication on both side, but in the second round it started to be clear that incendiary was going to wipe out the rest of the Merc team.
The damage grew too fast on the side of Merc. The recovery and possibility to bring back the dead was not enough to keep the fire warriors in the arena up to the fourth round.

* Lost due to double incendiary
When you play with Merc it is imperative to add a warrior with corrupted healing or cards with the cleansed potential.
In this combat it was not interesting to play with a card that will bring incendiary ability in the arena because of the ruleset that already gave to all unit in the arena this backfiring ability.
The lost of health point in the arena forced the smart fighter to bring abilities like Leech or scavenge to mine as many health point to survive the situation.
