Hi book lovers, how are you all doing? I hope you're having a great weekend. This is my first time posting in #hivebookclub and I'm thrilled to share it with this community.
I never knew there was a website to read Chinese novels for free untill my sister introduced me to it. The first novel she recommended was BRINGING THE NATION'S HUSBAND HOME which turned out to be one of the best Chinese novels I've ever read.
How long does infatuation last before becoming true love, what's the difference between intense love and obsession. Here's a story that might make you believe a crush can turn into love, though I'm skeptical it can happen.
BRINGING THE NATION'S HUSBAND HOME written by Ye Fei Ye is a romance novel between two people who've secretly longed for each other for thirteen years. But fate brought them back together in a fake marriage and that was their chance to be together, but neither of them would reveal their inner desires to each other. They navigate misunderstandings and Complexities in their relationship.
With only 973 chapters, the novel revolves around The characters, Qiao Anhao and Lu Jinnian's long- held feelings for each other since high school. They've carried pride instead of expressing their true emotion, resulting in unrequited love. Qiao Anhao came from a wealthy family, while Lu Jinnian was an illegitimate child born to a lowly maid. He thought that because of his back ground he wasn't worthy of her. Driven by his love, Lu Jinnian did everything for Qiao Anhao, he worked hard to reach the top to prove his worth to her. But she remained unaware of his feelings, thinking he never liked her.

HOW I FELT WHEN READING THE BOOK
Initially, I found it frustrating due to their miss opportunities to confess to each other, hindered by pride, and misunderstandings. Despite the exasperating plot twists, I had to keep reading to see how it ended and it was worth reading, both characters harbor deep feelings for each other but struggle to express them. But I loved they finally opened up to each other, making the story more interesting for me that I wish it had more chapters. The false marriage created a dynamic that fostered personal growth and deeper understanding between them. Although some characters annoyed me in the book, the story's worth made it Worthwhile.
Reading this novel makes me feel the important of communication, it can help partners connect on a deeper level and build a strong bond. Hiding your feelings instead of expressing them can lead to losing the person you care about, because it may create an opportunity for someone else to step in. I'll rate this book 8/10. The author's portrayal of relationships and emotion is impressive. I just love the way she makes the novel relate to real-life experiences.
