It was a beautiful morning with the sun shining brightly in the sky. I went out to buy something for my mom, enjoying the cool weather typical of mornings. The clouds were so pretty that I couldn't resist capturing every moment. Every thing seemed perfect fine that we didn't notice miracle's health struggles. He appeared fine, after the rescue and care, it pains me that we missed all the signs he was giving us that he wasn't feeling well.

Check out that Coco yam, it's grown so big. Last time I saw it, it's wasn't this big I guess the owners must be taking good care of it. it's looking fresh and lush. And I spotted this fresh waterleaf too. It's been a while since I had vegetables soup and seeing it again made me crave it.

As I walked to the next street, I saw Smiling dog, we call him that because he always looks like he's smiling. He perked up his head to check what I was carrying, probably thinking it was food since we always give him treats when we pass by. Unfortunately, I didn't have any to offer him this time.

While walking, I passed by this old uncompleted building that looks like it's been standing 3- 4 years. It's frustrating to see projects left unfinished for so long. If you're building a house, make sure you're prepared to complete it. If not, consider selling the land to someone who needs it.

I saw a farm with red rope to tied around it, which
in Igbo culture we believe its a spiritual warning to deter thieves trying to steal from your farm. It's believed to protect the farm and people often avoid such farm due to the perceived spiritual implications.

While taking a walk, I discovered a bakery near my house and snapped some photos. I'd love to try their treats some day. Futher down the road, I saw kids playing with a tire, reminding me of my childhood but I didn't follow them to play with the tire I just watch others play and joke about riding their "Mercedes Benz" their first car to ride that year lols. and we'd also buy Popsicles, nostalgic for the taste, though it's slightly different now. Seeing this brought back sweet childhood memories.

As I watched, Papa tended to his plants, carefully weeding out the overgrown grass to protect his potatoes. Nearby, I saw adorable chicks following their mother around, pecking for food, until the woman chase them away because they were eating her maize. The mother hen hid under the gutter, and the chicks frantically called out for her. This scene brought back painful memories of miracle, who was left all alone that night, calling out for help under rain and dumped in the middle of the road with no one around, when we thought he'd survive as the strong one, but he didn't. it's so painful and he was my favorite.

As the sun set behind gathering clouds, we rushed home anticipating rain. I quickly captured some photos. The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful, evoking emotions. It still remainded me of miracle, losing him made me realize how precious life is, and I made a promise to myself to protect and take good care of Asher.
