Have you ever thought about what to do, or are you just doing it because you're told to? Do you do what satisfies you and drives you to your passion or you just meet others expectations. Let me break this down, shall we?
I'm writing my post at 10:46pm Sometimes, we find ourselves in a job where we're not happy and it's not our passion, but we stay because of certain situations. Meanwhile, we might not even know what we're good at or what our talents are. To be successful, you need to do what you're passionate about what brings you joy and makes you feel like "yes, this is what I want for to do for life and I'm happy to let it be part of me". Discovering your talents and passions can unlock a sense of purpose.
I remember when my uncle and I chatted, he asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to go into fashion and he asked why. I said it's because I'm passionate about it and I can see myself succeeding in it. I told him, "I want to pursue fashion, not just because for the success stories, but because it brings me joy". However, he viewed fashion as a less promising career path, pointing out that many people struggle to make a living in the industry, despite seeing others succeed on social media. He wanted me to study nursing instead, which isn't something I'm passionate about.
Okay what if I had listening to my uncle and studied nursing? I'd make a lot of mistakes and my mind wouldn't be in it. I might just quit halfway. Don't let others opinion become yours or because you're trying to impress them, you just let your dreams slip away and you find yourself unhappy with your current situation. Pursuing someone else's dream can lead to regret and unhappiness. Your happiness and success depends on your own choices and passion.
Still writing my post at 11:21pm, However, you see someone asking their friends what they do and trying it out but it won't take long before they quit because it's not what they love doing and what their strengths can handle. They're just doing it because they saw their friends doing it and wanted to try, forgetting that everyone is different. Meanwhile there are people who discovered their talents and are disciplining themselves to develop them. One of the main keys to being successful is understanding the purpose of your talent and knowing what to do with it. Success comes from within, don't chase other's dreams, find your own.
Some people know where they're going and how to stay on track because they have a clear vision and know the right steps to take. Others might be still confused because they don't have a clear vision. When you do something you're passionate about and know your strengths, I believe you'll feel satisfied because you're doing what you're meant to do for the right reasons.
For people who are still confused about what to do, take your time to reflect on some certain things: what is my purpose? What can my strength carry? what are my intentions? If you are still confused, ask God for clear insight. When you have a clear vision, focus on what gives you joy. You might discover what your dreams are and get ready to awaken them. Be aware of the choices that lead to your desired destination.

I'm almost done writing and my post is ready to be posted at 12:28am. Well, I know growing into that process might be difficult but we need discipline, especially when you don't have anyone to discipline you. You can try hard to discipline yourself to follow and be conscious of every decision you make today to have smarter choices moving forward.
Start now to make wins, run your race and leave what is dragging you back. Take action because you can't win if you don't begin. Make plans and set your goals. Do what you love, what you're so passionate about that you know will lead to the dreams you've have been praying for. Keep visualizing how you want your dreams to be and how you want to step into that place. Don't let doubts hold you back, take actions towards your dreams.
