Hi, fashion lovers! How are you all doing? I hope you had a great weekend. I'm sharing on #needleworkmonday community how I turned my palazzo jeans into skirt.
I bought these jean trouser in 2023, but when I was washing it, I accidentally poured bleach on the crotch area, I felt devastated and dumb it. However I decided to try something new and upcycled the trouser into a skirt. Now, I'm excited to share my DIY transformation. Let's get creative! ✂️
THE MATERIAL USED FOR THE JEAN TROUSER:
- BLUE THREAD
- MY TAPE
- RULER
- I started loosing it with my razor, from the bottom up to the crotch area, taking it little by little so I wouldn't make a mistake while sewing.
- When I was done, I laid it flat on the floor, folded it into two and used a ruler to draw a straight line marking where to cut out the bleached area, ensuring both sides were even.
- I cut out the damaged area on both sides of the crotch and then stitched the edges on my sewing machine on both side. Honestly, I didn't do much on the trouser while transforming it into a skirt.
** HERE'S THE FINAL RESULT**
- I rock my slit jean skirt with shirt, paired with a black tube corset, heels and a black bag. I adore this outfit for its simplicity and classic elegance, and I highly recommend wearing it to church.
THANKS FOR READING. HOPE IT WAS HELPFUL AND HAVE A LOVELY NIGHT. 😘😊
