OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2096th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

When you are traveling in another country for academic reasons rather than tourism, every free moment is a great opportunity to explore the unknown. At least, that has been my approach in such circumstances.

Warm greetings to the whole Hive and Street Workout community! I hope everyone is doing great, guys. Last Saturday, August 2, 2025, the leader of the community, Manuel Ramos, Joscar and the technical advisor Marleny Suárez, summoned us to the events room of the Pavinber Continental Hotel. The appointment was at 5 pm, personally I already knew where it was. As it was close to La Estación Shopping Centre, it was easy to get there. For a moment I thought I could not attend, the weather was cloudy and it was raining in my area.

Hello friends of the TBT community, today I come again to share with you a nice memory I have with my friends before leaving the country. Just two days before my birthday I wanted to meet up with the guys to have a nice time at the mall, we walked around a lot, we saw cool clothes, and then we went to a very busy pizza place called “Quiero Pizza” I definitely loved its originality because literally when it provokes us a pizza we say those words.

Hey, open mic. This week's theme really caught my attention, and I couldn't think of any other song than “Sentimettal,” a song that never fails to make me laugh with its lyrics and style, and the hilarious way it parodies the band “Moderatto.” Every time I hear it, it makes me laugh, and it's my favorite funny song. In “Sentimental,” Moderatto expresses deep and vulnerable feelings, but with a touch of irony and humor that characterizes the band. The lyrics talk about love and sensitivity, but also reflect that defiant and daring attitude that has made them famous in the Mexican music scene. Musically, the song stands out for its catchy guitar riffs, energetic drums, and solid production that invites you to sing along with the chorus. The members' voices convey that mixture of passion and rebellion that defines Moderatto. Beyond being a parody band of those American rock bands, it's a funny way to be rebellious, and with this song, I bring you this bass cover.

Today when I woke up I expected to see a bright morning, but it was actually cloudy. While I was making breakfast and coffee, I was hoping the weather would change. I had planned to take some photos, but with the increased sun shining, the cloudy weather persisted. So I decided to go for a walk, hoping the weather would change. While I was walking through the city, the weather didn't change, but I couldn't miss the opportunity to capture some. However, I didn't take my camera out at any point, so I was using my humble cell phone, which can give me good images at certain points.

Teachers can and must not teach values. They need to have their own values, of course, and be somewhat coherent as they are inevitably role-models of some kind. But the kids have to come to school with their values already in construction through behavior control by the parents. The parents must ensure that their children are able to receive the knowledge that the teachers want to pass on to them, and not only to them, but to others, too.

Hello, my friends in this wonderful Open Mic community and other communities where musicians and singers from different regions of the country and around the world contribute our content. I am user @ítalozapata, and on this occasion, I am delighted to present a joropo llanero entitled “Remanso del Cabuyare,” which was recorded many years ago by maestro Jesús Moreno, the king of pasaje, accompanied by his cousin Omar Moreno on the harp. This joropo is dedicated specifically to a river, hence the title, “Remansos del Cabuyare.”

So we went to the supermarket to buy everything we needed to make these delicious cheeseburgers with bacon.

It turns out that last weekend we visited La Restinga beach, and there you can easily catch the guacucos, as they are called here. They are a kind of sea shell, similar to clams, so without hesitation when we got home I cleaned them to make this delicious recipe the next day. Everyone at home was fascinated.
