OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2097th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

A cordial greeting to everyone in this beautiful Open Mic community. In this week #278, we explore the theme: "Funny Songs." I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "Let's Get Loud," a song that fuses genres such as Latin pop and dance-pop, composed by Gloria Estefan and Kike Santander and included in Jennifer Lopez's album, "On the 6" (1999). The lyrics are incredible because they celebrate life, Latin culture, and expression through music. I love the way the trumpets and trombones sound in this song. It has short, powerful phrases that remind me of salsa. The melody is extremely cheerful and develops in parallel with the rhythm and harmony. The rhythmic base consists of congas, timbales, and maracas, with a 4/4 time signature. The original key is in C minor.

Perhaps it was Bobby Hebb's beautiful melody Sunny that was responsible for this extraordinary event. Perhaps it was the magical energy source of the sacred plants that have been with me for three decades. Perhaps it was simply the result of how accustomed birds have become to the human inhabitants of cities; we no longer frighten them. Perhaps those two pigeons were stupid... that could also be the case. Who knows?

Such a blessing time to finally make my comeback to take a part on weekly music celebration on our beloved platform, Hive blockchain. It was about three months ago since my late post on this community before I made up my mind to have a break for a moment. As always, this community become my top priority to share my music and celebrate the event with many great musicians from some different countries. Really happy to see you all still turn the community on with your music guys.

I arrived on August 2 with @diego-333 at 7am to the city of Maracay, after a trip a little hateful because as always happens in Cabimas, there was a problem with the buses. But in spite of everything I didn't feel annoyed or anything since I knew it was going to be a pretty good and different day. When we arrived, I told Diego to go to the Bolivar square, as he had never seen it before. From here we chose to walk to the hotel as we wanted to walk for a while to stretch our legs from the trip. Upon arrival, we met Ismael at the front desk, a fellow from Merida whom we had never met before but we instantly hit it off, while waiting to go up to the room, we went for a walk to get some breakfast. After breakfast we went back to the hotel, where each one of us took a shower to be clear for the trip, after a while athletes from different parts of the country started to arrive, the guys from Bolivar, Puerto Hielo, Apure, etc. We spent some time joking at the hotel and we accompanied some of the guys who wanted to see what to have for breakfast and we wanted to go for a walk again. Then when we arrived, we spent the whole afternoon talking, joking with the guys and we took the opportunity to sleep for a while, at 6pm, it was time for the delivery of the cotillions for the SWDB, and we would take tremendous surprise, which I will tell you about in the next post !

Now we have to walk a little back - a little more time travel - 3rd July 2025. It was day of second last final exam. Exam brought so much headache and tension. Revision and memorization was running wild in minds along with daily mundane jokes and fun activities. These fun moments will definitely be missed. Now life is changed. A lot of things changed. My funny attitude changed a lot towards seriousness, and i am committing myself to professionalism.

Talking about funny songs, there are quite a number of them and they truly reflect what the genre is about. When I saw the theme, the first song that came to my mind was the song "Mumu mumu" which I had once presented in this community.

Old photos of my childhood I have a lot, since the person in charge of being able to achieve that and to be able to be sharing them 20 years later is thanks to my mother, since she is that person who is always aware of you and even though she is always on top of you, she writes to you every day and even when you grow up she calls you to see where you are, it will always be the best thing that can happen to us, therefore it is a good time to relive those times when I was very small. Many of those photos that we have saved are from the first house, in which I managed to spend many years there and grow up in that space, so every memory and photos are of the house that was very big, where we always liked to be in the yard or on the porch when my mom was present so we could share and that is why the connection that one creates with that person is the best.

The plot of the film is set in 1307, where we have William Tell, one of the best archers of the time, who in his youth fought in the wars that were taking place at the time, a time of great violence, although unfortunately this is still present today, as humans live in constant war. Tell decided never to use violence again, but his country, Switzerland, was under the control of the Austrian Empire, a tyranny that oppressed the people of that country, so its inhabitants, tired of mistreatment, decided to fight for their freedom. The Swiss people's struggle was against the Habsburg King, Albert, and the governor in charge of Switzerland, Viceroy Gessler, both of whom were evil and ruthless.
