OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2100th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Hello everyone🖐️, I'm Unyime-Obong Okim by name and I trust y’all are doing great. It's hive open mic week #279 and I'm so thrilled to be a participant of it because it's actually my first time here🥰🥰

I must confess that choosing a song was not easy. I had so many options in mind and I had a hard time deciding, until I remembered this gem: A Thousand Years, an immortal ballad by Christina Perri that gave voice to the eternal love of Edward and Bella in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. It was the second single from the album and one of the singer's most iconic songs.

As I was looking for some psychological thrillers to watch some time ago (it was probably a couple of months back), I stumbled upon this movie from 1995 called Copycat. The first thing I thought was my age when this movie was released. hahah Of course, I wasn't into crime mysteries or psychological thrillers when I was four years old. However, time passed, and my interests changed. And now, 30 years after the release of this movie, I'm more than ready (even excited) to watch it.

So now, I will be sharing the continuation of my previous blog, where I'll be highlighting the experiences we had with my co-interns and the probation officers. It was actually my first time to be here, and this Captain Barangay is not familiar to me since it's a distant place, way too far from our place.

With our goal accomplished, we bathed her with fresh water. Afterward, we enjoyed playing volleyball. We circled, taking turns playing with five people. The other person would stay with Aurora to watch her; she's very small and we can't leave her alone. I took the first turn babysitting, then my sister-in-law. Since we were tired, it ended up being just my children and husband. We then went to the hot springs pool and the pier to go for a swim at the beach with my husband and children. I didn't stay in the pool long; the water was a little murky. I leaned more toward the beach, which, by the way, was beautiful. I remembered diving as a child. Although I didn't do it perfectly, we had a great time basking, talking, and laughing about the games in the water. Then we started swimming from the pier to where we were located. The distance was reasonable. We arrived exhausted; it had been a while since I'd swum that far.

Sometimes you have to allow yourself to walk down paths that seem like no one else is walking down. They can be difficult to enter, but if you dare, anything can happen. Passing through the town of Spegazzini, very close to Ezeiza, I dared to venture in to see what I might find, and boy, did things happen.

8 years to that... and today, everything in between is what I would say was a roller coaster for me, quite literally. Growing up I had a lot of dreams, hobbies, hopes and a passion to do something. I always had this fire within me to be everything, to heal and help and create a difference. And I was quite much on my journey to do so as well, until it became too tiring and hard to carry. I wondered how someone can grow so distant from oneself that when you look back you won't even recognize who you were, or rather, who you are. And then, I became one of them.

Even though the beginning of the summer of the calendars is in the second half of June, I consider that for me summer only starts when I feel the first, real summer vibes 😀 Sometimes I am reminded of summer during a part of the day when I drink a cold beer with my friends or when we organize a barbecue in nature, some afternoon when I return home from work due to high temperatures.
