OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2105th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

t the end of the day, my husband and I decided to go into town, as we needed to buy some stainless steel screws and nuts to finish a job at the hotel. The weather was beautiful, with clear skies that allowed us to see both the urban and natural landscapes. Although it was very hot, the walk was pleasant. We searched most of the city for the screws, but we had no luck. By that time, many stores were already closing, so we decided we would have to come back another day with more time.

Hello to the entire Foodies Bee Hive community, it's a pleasure to greet you. This is my first post in this community and I’m a little nervous because cooking isn’t really my thing. However, as I mentioned previously on my blog, my mom gave me an air fryer and I was so excited to try healthy recipes and share them with you. I’ve made French fries, delicious plantains with cheese, sweet potatoes, and recently a very easy dessert, which is what I’m here to share with you today.

This trail is located in a park, Yurubi Park, and as I mentioned at the beginning, it is quite close to us, let's say about a 10-minute walk away. Even though it is so close, I must be honest and say that I go there less and less. I guess it's because I don't always have someone to accompany me, and it's a bit boring to climb the trail alone, since everything is always better with company.

Strawberries are a very versatile fruit, which is why they are little Alma's favorite, and they offer many benefits for the body because they are low in calories and rich in fiber. When the little girl asked for a strawberry "ugo" I immediately looked for some candy and set out to prepare the smoothie, which is quite simple.

Lily came back early! I got a call on Sunday, she was bored and wanted to come back 2 days early, and her mom was okay with it and brought her over. We took the chance to settle the "Permission to leave the country" for Lily, so I can take her to Germany on Christmas. I already had bought the tickets - usually, I waited cautiously for her mom to sign the document, and then buy the tickets in case she changed her mind.

Beekeepers announced this spring that there has been a major bee die-off. And many plants are suffering from a lack of pollinators. There are much fewer fruits. Of course, we can pollinate them by hand. I didn’t pollinate the zucchini, but since they survived the drought, they decided to cover ours. Does their flower attract bees and other insects that much? I’m not sure. But there are so many zucchini that the entire winter supply is made from them, and we also freeze a large amount. Before freezing, we grated the zucchini, each bag contained about two servings.The first picture is from the day before yesterday and the second is from tonight.

Belonging from a farmer family background, it gets important for me to keep an eye on our farming. It is the farming season in India, and most of the farmer's were busy in looking after the crops. Though I am not directly involved into farming this year, but I made sure my farmland does not remain barren. I leased it to someone on a 50 % sharing. But it is importsnt to keep a check on the fields to avoid any wrong doing. This morning I went out to check the same in one of the farthest fields situated in midst of jungle.

Today I bring you a tender song titled You Painted the Stars for Me. It's a sweet song because of its meaning—I composed it for someone very special. Who doesn’t love their grandma? I don’t know, but I love mine just as much as I love my mom. That’s why I wrote this song for both of them. Just like my mother, my grandmother was a big part of my upbringing. She used to take me to school and was there when my mom couldn’t be. She’s been a source of emotional support many times, and I even lived alone with her for a while when my mom moved away a year ago. We stayed in the house together. Thank God she’s still alive, and I wish you could meet her—she’s such a kind person!

A warm greeting to this wonderful #Music community. I have the pleasure of sharing my trumpet performance of "A Felicidade," a bossa nova song composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes. The song speaks about the ephemeral nature of happiness, especially for the poorest. This musical piece is in the key of A minor; in my case, I play it in B minor. The melody is ethereal and sad, contrasting with the song's message. The harmony is rich in typical jazz chords, with extended and altered chords. The rhythm is upbeat, fluid, and syncopated. It's not easy to find happiness; our eyes sometimes don't perceive what's most important. In life, we must know the bitterness to appreciate the sweet. Some people have more flats than moments to smile. When we are grateful, we can value those moments when we are blessed.

The week confronts us with the theme of songs from legendary movies. I searched for possible songs to cover and after I found this which is very apt for the theme. Whitney Houston composed the song "I will always love you" in the year 1992 for the movie "The Bodyguard". It's such an emotional song with lots of feelings together with the calm and sweet melody.
