OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2120th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

My eyes see nothing, but my ears are alert to any noise I consider strange. I know they are there, in my closet, I know they are watching me, but for some reason they have not attacked me yet. They just stay hidden, still, watching my sleep, which they sometimes find amusing to interrupt with a sharp knock. They scare me, my heart starts beating very fast, and I can feel their presence throughout the room.

I have never considered myself a cat person, whereas I’m very fond of dogs. However, I’m drawn to certain aspects of cats' personalities, if I may say so. Cats are independent animals that like their personal space, and most are not very affectionate or used to being touched a lot, but as with everything in life, there are exceptions. If I dared to have a cat, I would do so because I believe they do not require much attention beyond preventive medical care and a balanced diet.

The experience of going back to school was rewarding, although quite forced. I had to fulfill my work obligations as a high school teacher in the morning, stay home in the afternoon to take care of my son, and then leave for the university at around five o'clock until ten or eleven at night. But my young body at the time was capable of enduring any pace of life.

Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Your Oldest Recipe. One of the oldest recipes I have ever prepared has been with seafood. It is one of my favorite foods and a classic in the Eastern cuisine of my country, Venezuela. When I learned to cook, the easiest dishes for me were dry dishes, then stews, and then soups. The first seafood recipe I ever prepared was an omelet during Holy Week when I was 14 years old.

Over time, life (life's great teacher), with its silent wisdom, gave me lesson after lesson. I fell, I got up, I observed. Until one day, I changed my focus. I stopped looking sideways to compare myself and started looking ahead, toward the version of myself I wanted to be. That's when I understood the true essence of competition: it's not a war against others, but something that shapes and fosters our own evolution.

Hello friends, happy evening to everyone, I hope you are all doing super well. Yesterday my mother-in-law gave me some fresh pumpkin seeds and I really love them so we wanted to make something with them for dinner with some good arepas but my boyfriend only thought of eating them with lemon, but I am a very creative person and I really like cooking so I suggested making a warm pumpkin salad and he loved the idea 💡 so here I come to share with you a recipe straight from the sea because thanks to living on a beautiful island I can get seafood on the table.

Hive open mic week #284, I trust you all are doing good. Sorry I'm late to the party but like the saying goes "it's better late than never". In line with this week's theme "Come back", I'll be performing the classic "Here I am to worship" by British worship leader, singer and song writer "Tim Hughes". Here I Am to Worship reminds us that no matter how far we go, God is still inviting us to come back to Him.” The song talks about how Jesus left heaven, came into our world, and gave His life for us. When you really think about that kind of love, the only natural response is to come back to Him in worship. Life has a way of pulling us off track. We get busy, distracted, or even feel far from God. But this song is like a gentle reminder, saying, “No matter where you’ve been, you can always return.” It’s about dropping our pride, laying everything down, and just coming back to the One who never stopped loving us.

I think it fits perfectly with this week's theme, "Come Back," as it explores the idea of longing for a return, whether to the past, to a relationship, or to a lost moment. The lyrics combine perfectly with the modern ranchera essence of Cristian Nodal, a singer with whom I identify and whose music I like.
