OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2139th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

3 x 1: horror movies to watch this Halloween | películas de terror para ver este Halloween [ENG|ESP]

This Friday is Halloween, a highly anticipated date for trick-or-treating children and all horror movie fans alike. While I'm not one of the latter, amidst so many stories that have been disappointing to me, I want to share three films that offer something different and that I think are worth revisiting. I'm not saying they're the best horror films in the history of cinema, but they're definitely ideal for celebrating this holiday. Este viernes es Hal

Hive OPENMic week #290 - "Por ser tan noble" - Instrumental cover by @ramonpaez

Warmest regards from the city of Villa de Cura (Aragua, Venezuela) to this prestigious community, Hive Open Mic @hiveopenmic, for musicians on the Hive Blockchain and its weekly contest. This is my latest entry for week 290 with a piece of Venezuelan music entitled “Por ser tan noble” (For being so noble), masterfully performed by the late singer Julio Miranda, known artistically as the “Singer-songwriter of love.”

When we walk around here with my grandparents, we come back… (¨Es-Eng¨).

How are everyone who visits this beautiful ¨WednesdayWalkCommunity¨: What I like about our Walks, whether we're walking in the city center or, as in this case, on the property, we always come across beautiful vegetation that brightens our day.

Living in a coastal city has its perks (Es-Eng)

This week's walk was in another beautiful place we have in my city. Those who accompany me daily will remember that I had mentioned that we visited a "beach resort": beautiful place that had been set up so that river enthusiasts could enjoy a safe and controlled space; Today we decided to walk along the second "beach": most important beach we have, and since it's such a beautiful spot, we took our traditional "photographic":around there

It: Welcome to Derry - Episode Review [ES - EN]

Last Sunday saw the premiere of one of the HBO original productions I was most looking forward to seeing this year, namely "It: Welcome to Derry", a series based on the novel of the same name written by Stephen King in the mid-1980s, which introduced us to one of the most legendary villains in literature, television, and film. It was precisely in the film version of that story, which was divided into two chapters, that we were introduced to a version of the demonic clown that did not generate immediate acceptance, but the work done by Andy Muschietti in the direction and with stories written by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman, introduced new generations to this wonderful story in which first a group of children and then, in their adult stage, must face all their fears represented by the terrifying "Pennywise." The success of both films meant that, after finishing this great story, what remained to be explored was the origin story of the appetite of an evil entity that uses a town to plunge it into terror and thus obtain an endless supply of child food.

Stella's Bar & Grill

Above history of the place describes the original owners struggles at the beginning. Estelle (Stella)Toblet Sullivan and her husband Al Sullivan started the restaurant business in 1936. The business has been in a couple of places along with a few different names. In 1974, Stella had a stroke and turned it over to her son, Al Jr. and his wife Mary.

This Lapacho is native to South America. We can find it in Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, and in my home country of Venezuela, which, although it's located in the northern part of the South, I've also seen it several times, under another name.
