Hi! I am Karla Marie, but you can call me Kalay as most of the people I know call me. I am 20 years old and a third year hospitality management student in one of the universities here in Cebu. Being a hospitality management student is fun and stressful at the same time because there is a lot of things to do, or we have different courses to study, such as international cuisine. In that course, the instructor teaches us about different kinds of cuisine all over the world, just like Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Indian cuisine, and many more As well as mixing drinks, housekeeping, food and beverage, bread and pastry, front office and spa. With this course, I gained knowledge,NCII certification because it is required in the degree program that i take and skills in different aspects of hospitality. To be honest I am very shy as a person, and my course help me get though it. Now, I can interact with different kinds of people. My journey as a Hospitality management student is like a roler coaster ride. This is the second course that i want to take and i didn't regret taking it instead of Bachelor of Science Elementary Education.

The person who introduced me Hive is my classmate Charm Ashley. We were groupmates in one of our subjects, we were at her house when she told us about Hive. She said that it’s a blogging site where you get paid on what you write, and you need to follow some steps in order to join Hive community. After that, I ask questions on how to join and she added us in a group chat for orientation. Thats, were I found out that some of our classmates are there too.
