Are dreams whispers from the other realm?

## Hello, everyone. I welcome you to my blog. Dreams and how people see them vary from one individual to another depending on their beliefs, religion, and how they see them, and I think everyone is right and nobody is wrong. Many people make the mistake of discrediting other people's beliefs because they don't resonate with theirs, and it ends up causing more chaos than actual peace. Whether a perspective or belief resonates with you or is in line with yours or not, always remember that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and every belief is valid. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmWfwn4CMdGJEsHsRNqCh7uPmeSbAF81sQG9rHz56fLFwn/1761728589369.jpg) [Source](https://unsplash.com/photos/silhouette-photography-of-person-oMpAz-DN-9I) Dreams, in a layman's terms, are just images and events we see in our sleep. When we lie down to sleep, those things that we see are considered dreams. Sometimes they feel so real to the point where we start to scream or start talking in our sleep, but our voices are heard in reality. We have nightmares where we are being chased, and sometimes we tend to move our body in reality or are probably being choked, and someone has to wake us up, but all that happened felt so real, and even after waking up, we still feel scared and try to understand why we'd dream of something like that. The scientist and those who believe in science so much will tell you that dreams have no meaning, as they are just images, events, and things your brain displays in your subconscious. Some will tell you that you had that dream because you have thought about it too much, and for that reason your brain has continued the show in your sleep, and now it is no longer a thought but makes you participate or a character in it, and you don't see it as anything or read meaning into dreams no matter how good or how bad; they just go on with their lives like nothing happened. Then we have those who are religious and believe that dreams are whispers, echoes, and messages from the other realm (spiritual) and should not be taken for granted. They give meaning to everything you see in the dream; they tell you things like if you see ripened fruit in the dream, it means blessings are coming your way, and so many other things, but for them, everything seen in the dream has meaning, and they interpret it, and they tell you to pray it happens, or if it is a bad one, they tell you to pray against it. It is believed that the spiritual controls the physical, so for anything to happen physically, it must have happened spiritually, so dreams are messages and visions; when you have them, they are messages from the other side. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmNbMK9rQTrHmwS7MosLfNgpa9fyyCAn1jDDpXQVRAg5u2/1761728589415.jpg) [Source](https://unsplash.com/photos/black-sailing-boat-digital-wallpaper-DKix6Un55mw) I was raised in a religious home, so I think I fall into the category of those who believe dreams are whispers, echoes, and messages from the other side, though not all of it, as sometimes what those who believe in science say seems to be true too. When you think about something too much, you tend to dream about it, which is why I said don't disregard or discredit other people's beliefs because yours are different.
