## Hello, everyone. I welcome you to my blog. Solar power is the trending source of power supply right now, and everyone is starting to adopt it. It is believed to be a renewable source of energy, as every day the sun shines, we can harness its energy and use it for our day-to-day activities, thereby reducing how much we depend on our power holding companies for power supply. For those in countries like mine where our power holding company has shown us what it really means to be called a power holding company, and we have been running helter-skelter in search of alternatives to fall back on for power supply, solar power is the answer.  [Source](https://unsplash.com/photos/solar-panels-on-green-field-513dBrMJ_5w) As a result of power failure in a country like mine, we are all generator owners just so we can have a power supply and use it for different needs ranging from charging our phones, laptops, and every gadget to just using it to relax and cool off when the weather is hot and unconducive, but sometimes the noise and smoke from these generators actually tampers with that, and at some point we have to turn it off so we can enjoy some peace and quiet and also a better atmosphere where there is no carbon monoxide (smoke) to deal with. Trust me when I say some generators and their owners should be locked up because they don't just pollute the environment with noise; they pollute the environment, even the air, with smoke and make it uncomfortable for both themselves and other people around. Every day I wish Nigeria was like other countries where you can call the police and report a neighbor. If it were so, I think we would not have to endure so much noise and air pollution because we would have called, and the police would have come and given them a warning. One time one of my neighbors complained about how noisy a neighbor's generator was; he was tagged a jealous neighbor, and instead of taking the matter seriously, they took it for a joke, and the guy that complained was now seen as the one doing the wrong thing. In a sane and working country, we all know who is wrong and who is supposed to make adjustments or fix their generator and stop causing other neighbors to suffer inconveniences. That is to say, you can use solar power without causing anyone inconveniences or even yourself inconveniences. Having neighbors complain or look at you some kind of way for using the sound of your generator to disturb the entire neighborhood can actually be avoided with solar power. Some claim it is expensive, but when you calculate how much you spend on fuel/petrol after purchase, you realize buying a generator in this era is a financial mistake.
