## Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. We all as individuals have a core value that drives us, and we lack some too, which is why nobody is perfect, and at the same time, realising that we lack some does not mean we should not work on ourselves and work towards adopting as many core values as we can, as our core values are what determine how we act, how we treat people, how we associate with people and deal with people, and our every move and every behaviour are determined by our core values, so lacking some or all of them will cause us to act wrong or treat people wrong.

Core values can be seen or defined as our personal rules that determine how we act; core values are like standards we have set for ourselves and allow these standards to be our guide. I doubt if there is anyone out there without core values, for one without core values I doubt the direction of their lives and how they actually deal with people; we all have personal standards, and we try to do everything within our power to see that we are abiding and living by them.
I have a lot of core values that serve as a guide to me; one I hold onto the most is empathy. A lot of people lack empathy, and for that reason, they treat people wrong and fail to show pity to people who deserve and need to be pitied. Empathy is putting yourself in another person's shoes and trying to see things from their own perspective. When you are empathetic, you don't rush into conclusions, you don't judge so fast, and you understand people's situations before you start to judge them.
When I deal with people, I always try to put myself in their shoes, and that way, you'd know where it hurts and why they did what they did or acted how they did or why you need to give them a second chance to try again. Empathy is how we all win and live peacefully with one another; it breeds understanding.
Another core value I live by is respect. I respect everyone I deal with, both big and small, older or younger. I believe that everyone deserves respect, and I give it without looking back, but I expect that the respect given is returned too. Everyone I have anything to do with I give maximum respect to. I don't talk to you rudely; there are no insults from me. I just treat you exactly the same way I expect you to treat me, and there is no way I want to be disrespected or insulted, so my respect for people I deal with is always top-notch.

I also abide and live by integrity and honesty; I so much like to deal with honest people and people with integrity, and for that reason I cannot help but be one with the same qualities. When you deal with or have people with integrity around you, you feel more at peace that way; you are relaxed, knowing fully well that they would hold up their own end of the bargain and will not do anything to jeopardise the deal. Unlike when you deal with dishonest people, where you will be left thinking about what they have in mind and what their next move will be, a deal with a dishonest person will take away your peace.
Your core values determine how you act.
