My name is Chimenem ritymaka, and I am thrilled to finally introduce myself on this wonderful platform. I am a 23-year-old graduate who studied Mass Communication, and I hail from the vibrant city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Growing up in the bustling heart of Nigeria has shaped me in many ways, and I’m excited to share my journey, thoughts, and experiences with you all.
Firstly, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have a twin sister, and together, we've navigated the ups and downs of life, always pushing each other to achieve our dreams. My passion for writing, reading, and listening to good music, especially the soulful tunes of John Legend, Adele, and Jonathan has always been a big part of who I am. These interests have not only provided me with endless joy but have also served as an inspiration for my creative endeavors.
My journey to join this platform, Hive Blog, was quite an adventure. My dear friend and fellow Port Harcourt native, Oma with the username @juicygoddess, recommended this community to me. Despite her guidance, I faced numerous challenges trying to sign up. The initial links I received didn’t work, and it seemed like the universe was testing my resolve. However, with @juicygoddess’s persistent help and support, I managed to find an alternative method and finally got my account up and running. This very introduction post was supposed to be published on the day I created my account, but due to various reasons, it got postponed to today. But hey, better late than never, right?
I am incredibly grateful to @juicygoddess for her unwavering assistance and to the entire Hive community for welcoming me so warmly. Your support means the world to me, and I look forward to contributing and learning from this platform.
Aside from my love for writing and the arts, I am also a crypto enthusiast. The world of cryptocurrency fascinates me, and I am eager to explore and discuss various aspects of it with like-minded individuals here.
My life’s journey has taken me to several places within Nigeria, including Delta State, Ebonyi State, and Abuja. I’ve also had the pleasure of traveling outside Nigeria to the neighboring Benin Republic. Each of these experiences has enriched my perspective and fueled my desire to explore more. Currently, I have plans to relocate to Lagos, and I am optimistic about the new opportunities and adventures that await me there.
