Hello everyone in this amazing community 😊 My name is @officialdenkay and this is my first time posting in this community, yes I am a singer but also a movie enthusiast, I’m gonna be making a review of a movie I just finished watching.
So I finally watched Alice in Borderland… and wow. I wasn’t ready. This show is pure madness, in the best way possible.
At first, I thought it was just going to be another random action show, but I mean🔥🔥 The main character, Arisu, is this chill gamer dude who suddenly finds himself in a totally empty Tokyo with his two friends. No people, no noise, no idea what’s going on. And before they can even figure anything out, boom they’re thrown into these crazy survival games* where losing means dying.
Yeah, not your regular gaming session.
What I really love about the show is how each game is different. Some test your strength, others mess with your mind. Some are team-based, others are every man for himself. You never really know what’s coming next, and it keeps you on edge. It’s not just about who’s the smartest or strongest, it’s about who can stay calm, read people, and sometimes, make the hardest choices. The games are super intense, but what hits even harder is the emotional side of it all. The characters go through a LOT. You see how the pressure gets to them, how friendships are tested, and how people change when they’re fighting to stay alive. Some moments are heartbreaking, not gonna lie. You get attached to certain characters… and then the show reminds you it has no mercy🥹
I also like how deep the story gets. You start asking questions like: Why are they there? Who’s behind all this? Is there a way out? And it slowly reveals things, piece by piece, in a way that keeps you curious. It's like you’re solving the mystery along with them.
The vibe of the show is 🔥 too. The way they made Tokyo look abandoned is crazy. It’s quiet but creepy, and the game arenas always feel dangerous and unpredictable. The music, the camera angles, even the way some scenes are just silent it all builds the tension so well.
And let’s talk about Arisu for a sec. At first, he’s kind of lost and unsure of himself. But the more he goes through, the more you see him grow. He starts thinking differently, leading people, making hard calls. It’s really cool to watch that transformation.
Honestly, if you’re into survival stories, psychological stuff, or anything with action and suspense, Alice in Borderland is worth it. Some people compare it to Squid Game, and yeah, I get why—but I feel like this one goes deeper. It’s more layered, and it really makes you think.
So yeah, 10/10 from me.
Just don’t get too attached to anyone… this show has no chill.
You should check it out It’s really cool
