This match is between ranking champions. Blood and Sunder, Four's a Crowd, and Even Stevens were the rule sets for the game. Life, Earth, and Dragon were the only available mana in this 19-mana game. Akane and I moved ahead and put Phlegmunculus in front. I then followed up with Kelan Gaines, and Mad Kaboomist completed the team. Although they selected Akane as well, their squad was considerably different. They began by combining Conclave Artificer, Happy Quokka, and Runeseer Sevaya for Weapons Training. They used a level 1 Albahoo Forester to finish the team.
My two magic attackers received Ambush from me, and their initial two units received the same skill. The Artificer had Lookout, so my strikes did not even kill Sevaya during the Ambush round. My Phlegmunculus was reduced to 2 HP. Kelan eliminated the two units in the rear in the first round. Both of their troops were poisoned after the Artificer killed Phlegmunculus. Quokka removed Kabonist's Divine Shield as Kabonist completed the remaining pieces of the Artificer's armor. Following the Poison damage in the second round, Kelan managed to finish the Artificer. At 1 HP, Kabonist set Quokka to die at the beginning of the next round.
