What happens when the birds fully grown? The body mass has so developed, feather covering the whole body, emiting so much heat.

They tend to drink more water and eat less food.

You'd wonder why?

They become so dehydrated at this stage coupled with the excessive heat, lots of feathers covering the body, to balance the intake, they tend to drink more water

Here, the birds just want to rest, to avoid being restless, so it is not advisable to feed them at noon when the temperature is at high. Infact during this period, i leave them with very few feed but much water, so later in the evening when the becomes so cool i give them mich food to eat then.
