Time to spread some of the fall magic that happens here in Central Oregon. I collected the following photos over the last several years I have lived here. Some are older and some are as recent as last week. So take a few moments and scroll through the post and enjoy the visual feast that is the changing colors of autumn here in Central Oregon.

Riverbend Park - Bend, Oregon
I took these just last week on a shopping trip to Bend.
I go to this park quite often for a walk before shopping but this is the first time I had ever seen any deer in the park.
The sun even decided to come out to help the colorful trees pop a little more.
Pine Meadows - Sisters, Oregon
I took these last year on one of my many morning walks through this area.
I was truly amazed at how all the trees seemed to be near their peak at the same time. They weren't quite as in sync this year.
Metolius River - Camp Sherman, Oregon
I always like to make at least one trip each fall to this area.
The Western Larch trees are always a favorite of mine. As the conifer trees needles' turn from green to bright yellow...
They offer a sharp contrast to the remaining green pines and firs.
A bright yellow bush in an otherwise green and brown landscape.
Drake Park - Bend, Oregon
The reflective view on Mirror Pond. There is a small dam just downstream on the Deschutes River that forms this aptly named body of water.
Sisters, Oregon
And to close things out some random shots from around my town.
