It has been a couple years since I took a trip up to the overlook. A short walk, about a mile round trip, yields some huge payouts view wise. It's probably only 15 minutes from my house so I should probably make it a point to visit this place a little more often. So give it a scroll and enjoy some of the picturesque views from my little afternoon adventure. Might even be a video of some of the hike and me working hard to bring you these pictures. ๐
A zoomed view of Three Fingered Jack on the left and Mt Jefferson from the first view point.

A more wide angle view from the same spot.
The main attraction from the top of the overlook. The Three Sisters.
This is the same shot overall but I stitched together three 90mm focal length shots in Lightroom to make this panorama.
Here is a view of Whychus creek down below. The Central Oregon Cascades have had a pretty good snow year so hopefully this creek will be flowing strong all summer. ๐

A couple zoomed shots of the creek below.

Some rock formations I passed on the walk.

A small arch in the rocks. About 5 or 6 years ago I hiked up and took some pictures there. You can line up Mt Jefferson through the hole so it is a pretty cool effect. The results were less than spectacular so I hope with a little more experience now I can get up there and give it another go. ๐
