I don't know how many folks in this community are actually reading the posts here, but I see a lot of familiar faces in this place, so I think it's safe to assume that most of you know me by now, for better or worse.

Rightly so, my friends and minions.
It's been a weird year, and I've been processing some trauma. As many of you know, I spend a great deal of energy suppressing my... let's say... supervillain tendencies.
Well, right now I just don't have the emotional bandwidth to NOT be a supervillain. I have a plan, a devious plan, and I think you're going to like it, but I'm going to need your help.
You may have noticed (I see the view counts, I KNOW some of you have noticed) that I've been posting videos of myself and some other local-ish people doing stand-up. Since you don't seem to be hating it too much just yet, I think you'll find your participation in my plan fairly easy.
You see, these few comedians are but a small sample of dozens of comedians, who are connected to still other dozens of comedians across this state that I haven't even met yet. A LOT of these people are pretty funny, and a few of these people are REALLY funny. I have permission to post videos from a handful so far. If you do your part, I think we can have them ALL within the Hive soon...
You see, what most comedians crave more than anything, is validation. All we need to do, is give that to them.
You don't even have to validate them with your votes. You see, I've noticed that 3Speak counts views rather than (at least higher than) votes when it sorts its Trending videos. I've also noticed that if you can hit 30 views in a day, you're pretty much guaranteed a spot on the top 10.
These comedians will LOVE that! I have seen the Instagram accounts of their headliners, and I get more views on my 3Speak posts than they get on their Insta.
If they see you paying attention to them, we can onboard them easily. BOOM! they've been assimilated...
But here's the kicker...
New York state has (probably) THE most restrictive crypto laws in the world. They will be stuck, forever staking, or risking the full might and migraine that is the New York State Justice System delving into every aspect of their sketchy financial lives.
They won't care. They'll feel mighty when they become minnows, godlike when they become dolphins, and... well, they might actually be a problem if they ever become whales.
But, let's not worry about that, my friends! I'm sure I'll be able to cook up another devious plan to dupe these lonely fools, before their power grows too far out of hand.
So, what do you say? All you have to do is watch comedy videos on 3Speak. You don't even have to watch my videos, just the ones I post of the other people, and just until they start making their own accounts. I mean, the votes would be nice... Americans love to see a $, even when it only says $0.01. If you just vote the ones that make you laugh, even a little vote, you'll help encourage just the funny ones to sign up.
I assure you, though, the validation of seeing over 40 views on their videos would be enough.
I can probably make that happen myself, for a while, by promoting them on Facebook, but Facebook will immediately throttle my views if I start promoting other comedians. They want me to make a business page if I'm going to do that.
I'm happy to work out any details in the comments. Suggestions for CodeNames, other ways to bait them with their insecurities, maybe a few stick ideas to punish the ones who won't join the ~~gang~~ Hive.

Honestly, It would only take like... 5 you, who were willing to watch the videos a few times each. If we get enough of the funny ones solidly hooked, they will start to bring their audience. Once that happens, well, American fans like to spend money. Let them spend some here.
Mull it over. Run it by The Whales. Tag them, or whatever you do to get their attention. Do you guys have like, a Whale spotlight you can point at the sky, or something? Maybe they could cook up some incentives. My DHF proposal requires 0 HBD/day, just a few dozen regular Hive users who want to see a funny video a couple times a week.
Or, I don't know, maybe it's a dumb idea. Like I said, I'm going through some stuff.
