Banned For Life: The Social Media Platform I Would Ban.

 Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Hive-Learners which says:**Banned for Life.** So let’s dive in. Honestly, if I had the power to ban one social media platform for life, I would choose **TikTok**. I know some people will not agree with me, but I’m just saying my honest mind. TikTok has turned into something else. TikTok is not about entertainment again; it has become a place where people do anything in the name of **content** just to get attention. And the saddest part is that both young people (teenagers) and adults are doing things that don’t make any sense, all because they want people to like, follow, comment on their videos, or make their videos go viral. --- What really pisses me off is seeing teenagers who are still very young wearing inappropriate wear online and dancing in an inappropriate way just because they want to become popular. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying dancing is wrong, but why remove your clothes or why wear only underwear just to dance? And I’m sure some of them are doing it behind their parents’ backs, or their parents know but didn’t say anything. I once saw a girl on TikTok who looked about 15 or 16, dancing in just underwear, shaking her body anyhow. When I saw it, I was like, **What is this?** I was angry not just because of her, but because of the TikTok platform itself. They are not supposed to be allowing this type of thing. This is the kind of content videos young teenagers are watching, and before we know it, they too will start doing the same thing because they believe that is the only way to be noticed.  It’s not only teenagers. Adults are also embarrassing themselves. Some will come online and start doing nonsense. I have seen videos several times of two ladies calling themselves **lesbians**, kissing each other, touching themselves anyhow, all in the name of content. Honestly, this kind of thing is just trying to corrupt innocent teenagers. Now imagine teenagers watching all these, won’t they also start doing it? Some people will come online doing nonsense all because of content. One day as I was scrolling through TikTok, I saw a lady cooking noodles inside the toilet. That’s not all—she was using the closet water to cook it and was eating it. I almost threw up because it was disgusting. Honestly, what I have discovered about TikTok is that they don’t care at all, and because of that, it’s giving a lot of people the audacity to behave anyhow. --- What pains me most is how TikTok is influencing people in a negative way. Instead of motivating people to be better or learn something useful, it is encouraging many to do things they are not supposed to do. Some people no longer have shame because TikTok has made it look normal. Everything is now content. Some people will be in the toilet videoing themselves and then later post it on TikTok, all in the name of content. Things that are supposed to be private are now public. Even relationship and family matters are being posted on TikTok just to get views, it’s so disgusting. Like I said, if I had the power, I would ban TikTok completely. I know banning it will not change the whole world instantly, and people might even try to create another app like it. But at least this one that has already gone out of control will be gone. And if any new one is created, there should be serious rules. Teenagers should not be allowed, and any adult that posts inappropriate things should be banned immediately. They need to make an example so people will know they are serious. I know that not everything on TikTok is bad because some people are actually using it to promote their movies, businesses, and advertise their work. But the truth is that people are using it more for inappropriate things than for the good things I just mentioned. I won’t say TikTok doesn’t have its advantages, it does, but many people are just using it for nonsense content. Like I said, even though some people use it the right way, the majority are using it in the wrong way, and that’s why I believe banning it is better. In conclusion, TikTok is not helping us anymore. It’s just making people do things that don’t make sense again.
