Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Hive Student Connect, which says: **Morning Prep**. So, let’s dive in.
Honestly, I don’t do too many things before going to school. I always wake up by 6:00 a.m, and the first thing I do is pray. I always pray with my elder brother before we start preparing for school. Prayer is very important to me because it gives me peace, and it’s also important because it’s good to commit the day into God’s hands. After praying, I go and take my bath because the night before the following day have already wash our plates. Even when I feel lazy to get up from bed, or still sleepy, once I take my bath, I feel energized and ready for the day.

When I’m done bathing, I dress up for school. I always like to look presentable and good-looking, not by putting on makeup because I'm not a fan of makeup. I only apply lipstick on my lips, and that’s all. Then I check my timetable to see the courses I have for the day. After that, I arrange my books inside my school bag. I don’t like forgetting anything at home, so I always make sure my bag is well arranged and that everything I need for the day is inside my bag before leaving for school.

I don’t eat breakfast before going to school. I’ve been used to that since my 100-level days. I just get ready and leave for school. I prefer to reach school before eating and that's towards afternoon. After dressing up and packing my bag, I go straight to our junction to wait for the shuttle or enter if they arrive early and then they take us inside the school. I like to go to the junction early so that I won’t miss the shuttle. Sometimes while going to school, I either listen to music or just walk quietly.

Whenever I wake up late for school and start rushing not to get late and I eventually get to school late, I tend to forget either my pen at home or one of my course notes. That’s why I love waking up early and going to school on time.
In conclusion, my morning prep goes like this: waking up by 6:00 a.m., praying with my brother, taking my bath, dressing up, packing my bag, and going to the junction to enter the shuttle to school. It’s a simple routine, but it helps me stay organized and ready for the day.
