Hello Everyone,

We are in a computer age, where technology has taken over almost every part of the society. In this digital age we now have nano robots that are used for surgery, we now have special chips and implants as replacements of some organs of the body. ![processor-2217771_1280.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/oluwadrey/23wzT1TRHPYYspx92HUKa1m3q4ZNiGT2NMqKiCvt1MscaaEbmtWJQCB75yb4bKpejNo9a.jpg) [Source](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/processor-cpu-computer-chip-2217771/) I recently read an article on X (formerly twitter) about a successful Tesla implant that records and digital displays your dreams. When I first read the news, I starred in utter disbelief, until I researched it up on Google to confirm it was actually true. I was just imagining how they can open some ones head and implants a chips that is capable enough to record your dreams, I was like that king in the bible requesting for people to come and be recalling his dreams would be delighted to know that our Generation now has that technology he was looking for lol. The idea of having computer chips in our brains that help us remember everything is a mesmerized idea.Just Imagine being able to recall every detail of images, every conversation, and every experience with perfection?, it looks like an outright sci-fi stuff. It's sound kinda cool, scary and cringe. Let's look at the possible benefits of having that kind of chip in your brain: Firstly in real life experience, you will be able to vividly Recall important events and conversations,Learn new skills and information at an incredible pace and Never forget a face, a name, or a special moment. It sounds so good but I can imagine many disadvantages like, for example you Loss your personal identity and autonomy, it's just like someone is thinking for you, or as if you have another entity in your head, although it might look like I'm overthinking it but for real I watched so many sci-fi films with almost the same theme, the end is usually not good. Another risk I think have a memory enhancement chip in your head is that you become too Dependent on technology to function. Any device can malfunction, get hacked into or pack up you might be left helpless. You attract some Unintended consequences on our emotional and social well-being. ![books-4607704_1280.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/oluwadrey/23wMY9im5kFqJDaS9K9qAUm3VvSJZWaf3AVMh25TeA1Sv2cWMdoJCdEzxQ71gSxpUYdEB.jpg) [Source](https://pixabay.com/photos/books-bookstore-education-4607704/) On the other hand, there is something to be said for the beauty of our imperfection. Our memories are what make us human, and forgetting is a natural part of the process of humans in fact it's natural. By embracing our imperfect memories, we develop our resilience and coping mechanisms, we train more and try harder to prioritize and focus on what's truly important and Cultivate a sense of gratitude for the memories we do have. For Me I choose imperfection as Humans being Perhaps the greatest benefit of not having computer chips in my brain is the opportunity to experience life in all its messy, imperfect glory. I can't even imagine how much control and privacy our gadgets are sipping out to those big tech companies, they steal our data for their own use, now picture them having a direct access to your brain, it gonna be an express way for them to control, spy and manipulate you. For me I will chose my flaws that way, I don't need any implants in my brain. Here is my response to #hl-w178e3

Thank you all and do have a blessed day❤️
