The Act of lies: Living in Deception

Lying is an act as old as beginning of man, it simply means saying something other than the truth, no Matter how you give context to lie, or how you paint the lies, it still doesn't change the Truth.

Matter of fact is that The Truth will remain unchanged but a lie can change into several other forms. This is why whenever you lie, there is always a proceedings of more lies. In this our modern world, people are so used with saying lies, some would even justify their lies and the type of lie it is. Let's see some funny made up lies that people love to indulge in. White lies lol; to many people do say that this is the most morally right kinda of lie, In which you have to lie just so to please save people from situations or make difficult situations less challenging. For example lying just to save someone marriage or relationship, or maybe lying to save your Job. Many people believe lying is the best options for some conditions especially. For me I think Regardless of how drastic saying the truth can be, it's always better to say the truth. **Lies of Omission:** a type of lying whereby you withhold some truth and then making a lie look like the truth all through. Let's check out some practical examples of lies of omission: The first example are some lies in cooperate world records which involves Withholding crucial information, let take example a doctor that is failing to inform a patient about potential side effects of a medication. Or maybe a farmer that is selling a yam that has spoilt in, he sold it. Sometimes the lier might decide to be selective about lies, for example A salesperson highlighting the benefits of a product while downplaying its drawbacks. For example A job candidate leaving out important information about their work history or qualifications (Everyone will definitely say he is doing it, so that he can get himself for the job. A friend sharing only part of a story, leaving out important context or details is a big lier .  Another very dangerous type of lying is when you Hide relevant facts, for example: A company not disclosing environmental or safety concerns related to their products. Or better still an Engineer or construction worker that did not use an original tools or good materials, just for them to be used and the aftermath leaves destruction of lives and properties.  In Nigeria here, we usually lie on the phone so much, for instance maybe someone called us and we don't want them to know that we are still far away, so we will tell them, we are just a stone throw to where they are. Some people can even lie about location and what they are presently doing too. As we can see all These examples illustrate how lies of omission can occur in various aspects of life, including healthcare, business, relationships, and more.
