Hello everyone, welcome to my blog! As we all know, it's another beautiful weekend, but this time, we're doing something different, in my weekend blogs, I'm always talking about how I had so many house chores lined up or me or I'm working on a Saturday. Today is different, I wanted to give myself a special treat.
After a super stressful week, today, saturday was all about self-care and maintenance. I decided to treat myself to a day of pampering because, honestly, I needed it.
First things first, I headed to the salon. Got my hair done, a fres new beautiful hair style that left me feeling like a new person. My hair looks good, and it made me feel so good. The stylist knew exactly what to do to make me look and feel refreshed.
Next up, nails! I got my nails done, a nice colour that matches my vibe right now. And, of course, a pedicure was a must. Getting those feet pampered feels amazing, especially after a week of being on the go. Smooth skin, pretty toes nicely done.
All this self-care stuff was like a balm for my stress. I needed this day to reset and recharge. Doing these little things for myself, getting hair done, nails painted, pedicure was like giving myself a big ol' hug. Self-care isn't selfish; it's necessary sometimes.
Now I'm feeling way more chill after this day of self-treatment. Stressful week behind me, refreshed and renewed for the week ahead.
I think I'll keep doing this more often, giving myself a good treat at least once a month because it actually feels good.
