For the past two weeks, i have been updating everyone on my staking journey, i would've posted this update on sunday but i couldn't dye to my tight schedule.
Last week, i didn't do too much and i wasn't happy about it at all. The truth about being consistent is the fact that you need to discipline yourself, personally, i believe consistency cannot work with out proper discipline. I'm saying this because, i have been powering up constantly every single day since the beginning of this month, but this pervious week, i couldn't keep up, i forgot to power up for three days!
After realising this big mistake, i wasn't happy about it, imagine keeping a power up streak only to break it because you were too busy and forgot to power up. I felt really sad, because this same thing happened last month, and i didn't want history to repeat itself, it's quit unfortunate that i had to encounter this same issue again.
Last month, when i forgot to power up for some days, i wasn't happy, did i give up? Yes i did, i became to tired of being inconsistent, i decided to start all over this month. So far, my progress has been massive, i was happy about my progress and consistency not until i forgot to power up for some days.
Just because i didn't power up for some days, it didn't make me to stop just like i did last month. I decided to step up my A game. On sunday which was the crowd power up contest, i powered up 105 Hive, this was the first time i'm powering a over hundred at once. I was so happy, honestly consistency pays, just keep pushing regardless of how hard it may be, discipline yourself to work towards your goals.
The month of September is finally coming to an end, and i can proudly say my act of consistency on hive really paid off. I started engaging more in other people's contents and being active on ecency waves . Due to my act of consistency, my followers list has increased from 82 followers to 97 followers in the space of three weeks, this is the power of consistency.
At the beginning of September, i was at 852 HP. My goal for the month was to get to 1,000 HP before the month runs out. Was i able to reach my goal? Yes! With the steady power up and participating in the crowd power up contest, i was able to reach my goal and surpass it, I'm currently at 1,023 HP.
This only happened because i was consistent, the power of consistency is the beautiful reward you get for putting in so much efforts. Tomorrow which is a new month, marks a new beginning, more opportunity to do more, set new goals and work towards them. Making progress can be difficult and stormy, but one thing is certain #THERE'S ALWAYS REWARD FOR HARDWORK.##
