After You... By Jojo Moyes. Greetings my dear readers; we are back, because we can't start reading a series without continuing reading each volume of it. In the past days; without a doubt, we could cry, laugh and fall in love with Louisa Clark in the novel Me Before You; it really was an emotional ending and we couldn't stay that way, because I particularly wanted to know what would happen to Lou, after having lost the love of her life. But still wanting to read the second novel; in the back of my mind I was thinking if the sequel could be as wonderful as the first installment. Now; that could only be discovered if I dared to read it; so I decided to download it and I can only tell you that the story goes beyond the first experience, because it is not about love in its full extent; but about a wonderful emotional adventure that Louisa undertakes to find herself. Of course, the protagonist maintains her internal pain for the loss of Will; it is a mourning that cannot be forgotten. And this is where readers might think that the emotions experienced in the previous reading would not be overcome in this second installment. Forgive me if this is repetitive; but it was necessary to discover if the continuation with Louisa's story would be as powerful. In that sense; from my point of view, with this installment we see a protagonist that although she maintains her pain; for the moment does not revolve around other characters. She is a resilient woman and if she has lost her way; her fun personality occasionally kicks in. Certainly, the loss of her great love has transformed a bit what she was, as we see her paused and stagnant for all that she carries inside; in short, this will be a journey of healing for Clark. We see her with a lot of decay; to get out of bed is a slow process and this leads her to sink deeper into her pain; she seems stopped in a world that moves forward in an accelerated way, definitely; she is locked in her past, without trying to build her future. However; Lou cannot let herself be defeated, she is strong and knows that she must rise up to overcome all her fears. From there, new characters are incorporated into the protagonist's life who are important in her healing process; there are some who support her, but others confront her. The important thing about all this is that these new people add dynamism to the story and logically, without Lou realizing it, she comes out of the pit in which she finds herself. On the other hand, as I said before, Lou has not lost that touch of magic humor, that laughter that still enamors and that personality that involves everyone, so the touch of humor, with that touch of tragedy, makes the reading more entertaining and you do not want to stop moving forward to find out what happens to the protagonist. All this invites us to reflect; that although there are moments of weakness or moments of sadness; there will always be a light that surprises us and makes us laugh. I say this; because there are pages where we can drown with what the protagonist is feeling; however; without one imagining it, there are moments when hope is there and the protagonist could try a new beginning. We really feel so immersed in the story; we can feel like we are the ones taking Louisa's steps. It makes us think how strong the human personality can be and of the capacity we have to move forward and be happy; because unfortunately, the world does not stop because of the absence of a person; it is a law of life. In short; this story reflects how complex human relationships can be and how imperative it can be for a person to find emotional support. It is a work that reflects the sense of courage; not only to want to love again, but to move forward, find your way and remember your past without it being able to define our future. Life doesn't end with one person and if you felt love for them, that could be the key that makes you feel new connections so you can move forward. Now; if you loved and fell in love with Me Before You, you should definitely read this second installment, because you will see that Louisa will not love in an intense way as she did with Will; however for her, love will be latent and it will mean that touch of exploration for her to understand that she does have alternatives; this book without a doubt you will love it and the ending will leave you asking for more. Después de Tí... Por Jojo Moyes. Saludos mis queridos lectores; estamos de vuelta, porque no podemos iniciar a leer una serie, sin continuar leyendo cada tomo de la misma. En días pasados; sin duda alguna, pudimos llorar, reir y enamorarnos de Louisa Clark en la novela Yo Antes de Tí; realmente fue un final demasiado emotivo y no podíamos quedarnos así, porque particularmente quería saber que pasaría con Lou, después de haber perdido al amor de su vida. Pero aun queriendo leer la segunda novela; en mi mente pensaba si la continuación podría ser tan maravillosa como la primera entrega. Ahora; eso solo se podría descubrir si me atrevía a leerla; así que decidí descargarla y solo les digo que la historia va más allá de la primera experiencia, porque no se trata del amor en toda su extensión; sino de una maravillosa aventura emocional que emprende Louisa para encontrarse consigo misma. Por supuesto que la protagonista mantiene su dolor interno por la perdida de Will; es un duelo que no se puede olvidar. Y es aquí donde los lectores podríamos pensar, que las emociones vividas en la lectura anterior no serían superadas en esta segunda entrega. Me disculpan si esto es repetitivo; pero había que descubrir si la continuación con la historia de Louisa sería así de poderosa. En tal sentido; desde mi punto de vista, con esta entrega vemos a una protagonista que aunque mantiene su dolor; por el momento no gira en torno a otros personajes. Ella es una mujer resiliente y si ha perdido el rumbo; su personalidad divertida en ocasiones se activa. Ciertamente, la pérdida de su gran amor ha transformado un poco lo que era, ya que la vemos pausada y estancada por todo lo que lleva adentro; en fin, este será un viaje de sanación para Clark. La vemos con mucho decaimiento; para levantarse de la cama es un proceso lento y esto la lleva a hundirse más en su dolor; parece detenida en un mundo que avanza de forma acelerada, definitivamente; está encerrada en su pasado, sin tratar de construir su futuro. Sin embargo; Lou no puede dejarse vencer, ella es fuerte y sabe que debe levantarse para superar todos sus miedos. Apartir de allí, se van incorporando en la vida de la protagonista nuevos personajes que son importantes en su proceso de sanación; existen unos que la apoyan, pero otros la confrontan. Lo importante de todo esto; es que estas nuevas personas le añaden dinamismo a la historia y lógicamente; sin que Lou se de cuenta, va saliendo del foso en qué se encuentra. Por otra parte; como dije antes, Lou no ha perdido ese toque de humor mágico, esa risa que aun enamora y esa personalidad que envuelve a todos; por lo que el toque de humor, con ese toque de tragedia; hace que la lectura se vuelva más entretenida y no desees dejar de avanzar para saber que pasa con la protagonista. Todo esto nos invita a reflexionar; que aunque existan momentos de debilidad o momentos de tristeza; siempre habrá una luz que nos sorprenda y nos haga reir. Digo esto; porque existen páginas donde nos podemos ahogar con lo que siente la protagonista; sin embargo; sin que uno se lo imagine, rápidamente existen momentos en que la esperanza está allí y la protagonista pudiera intentar un nuevo inicio. Realmente nos sentimos tan inmersos en la historia; que podemos sentir que somos nosotros quienes damos los pasos de Louisa. Nos hace pensar lo fuerte que puede ser la personalidad humana y de la capacidad que tenemos de salir adelante y ser felices; porque lamentablemente, el mundo no se detiene por la ausencia de una persona; es ley de vida. En fin; esta historia refleja lo complejo que pueden ser las relaciones humanas y lo imperativo que puede ser para una persona encontrar apoyo emocional. Es una obra que refleja el sentido de la valentía; no solo para querer volver a amar, sino para avanzar, encontrar tu camino y recordar tu pasado sin que pueda definir nuestro futuro. La vida no termina con una persona y si sentiste amor por ella, esa podría ser la clave que te haga sentir nuevas conexiones para que puedas avanzar. Ahora; si amaste y te enamoraste con Yo Antes de Tí, definitivamente debes leer esta segunda entrega, porque verás que Louisa no amará de forma intensa como lo hizo con Will; sin embargo para ella, el amor estará latente y significará ese toque de exploración para que comprenda que sí tiene alternativas; este libro sin duda alguna te encantará y el final te dejará pidiendo más.
