Reemplazo Batería de Mini UPS. Hace algún tiempo; debido a las dificultades eléctricas que aun se han mantenido en nuestro país, me llevó a la necesidad de adquirir un equipo UPS con el objeto de continuar teniendo actividad del servicio de internet, cuando el eléctrico falle; que de paso, las fluctuaciones de energía son muy constantes. Sin embargo; todo iba muy bien hasta hace unos días que hubo un corte de electricidad por casi 5 horas; y cuando esto sucedió, nos dimos cuenta que no teníamos internet. Me acerqué al sitio donde está conectado el wifi y el mini UPS y resulta que todo estaba apagado; desconecté el UPS, lo volví a encender pero nada que tenía vida; desde mi punto de vista, la batería del equipo se había dañado. Para verificar; destapé el equipo y efectivamente así era, una de las pilas que tenía conectada se había quemado, la parte superior de la misma estaba desprendida por lo que el UPS ya funcionaba solo con alimentación eléctrica; no había de otra que salir a buscar un reemplazo de esta batería y por suerte encontré un muy similar a la original; les confieso que fue difícil encontrarla, por lo menos aquí en Cumaná así fue. >Mini UPS Battery Replacement. Some time ago; due to the electrical difficulties that still exist in our country, it led me to the need to acquire a UPS equipment in order to continue having internet service activity, when the electrical fails; which incidentally, power fluctuations are very constant. However; everything was going very well until a few days ago when there was a power outage for almost 5 hours; and when this happened, we realized that we had no internet. I went to the place where the wifi and the mini UPS are connected and it turned out that everything was off; I disconnected the UPS, I turned it on again but nothing was alive; from my point of view, the battery of the equipment had been damaged. >To verify; I uncovered the equipment and indeed it was, one of the batteries that was connected had burned, the upper part of it was detached so that the UPS was already working only with power supply; there was no other choice but to go out to find a replacement for this battery and luckily I found a very similar to the original; I confess that it was difficult to find it, at least here in Cumana so it was. En mis manos tengo el Mini UPS, donde pueden apreciar sus características y también tengo a mano la batería que pude adquirir para realizar el reemplazo. Para proceder a la sustitución de la batería; debemos tener a la mano un destornillador de pala, ya que el equipo se destapa de manera fácil, la tapa está colocada a presión. Simplemente; colocamos la punta del destornillador en la ranura lateral y procedemos a empujar con delicadeza; la tapa sale con facilidad y allí tenemos el equipo destapado donde se puede visualizar la batería a reemplazar. >It is valid to mention that this battery works with the Mini UPS model DC1018P with a capacity of 10,400 mAh; in this case, the battery is composed of four batteries of 2600 mAh each. Simply; we place the tip of the screwdriver in the lateral slot and we proceed to push with delicacy; the cover comes out easily and there we have the equipment uncovered where the battery to be replaced can be visualized.        Si nos acercamos un poco; vemos que tenemos un conector de color blanco, el cual podemos desconectar con nuestras propias manos sin ningún tipo de problemas. Una vez desconectado; simplemente sacamos la batería y nos damos cuenta que así como dije al inicio; una de las pilas estaba dañada. Como recomendación particular; no desechen la batería vieja porque nos puede servir para otra oportunidad. >If we get a little closer; we see that we have a white connector, which we can disconnect with our own hands without any problems. Once disconnected; we simply take out the battery and we realize that as I said at the beginning; one of the batteries was damaged. As a particular recommendation; do not discard the old battery because it can serve us for another opportunity.     Ahora; procedemos a realizar el reemplazo, colocando la batería nueva en el mismo sitio donde se encontraba la original. Colocamos la batería en el espacio correspondiente y enchufamos el conector para que todo quede perfectamente instalado. >Now; we proceed to make the replacement, placing the new battery in the same place where the original one was. We place the battery in the corresponding space and plug the connector so that everything is perfectly installed.    Sin colocar aun la tapa del equipo, vamos a probar si funciona; para ello, con mucho cuidado enchufamos el cable de corriente en el UPS y luego en el tomacorriente. De inmediato observamos que los bombillos encienden y al quitar el enchufe todavía quedan encendidos. Desconectamos el flujo eléctrico y colocamos la tapa del equipo, que como dije antes es a presión. Ya tenemos nuestro equipo bien tapado y volvemos a probar realizando el mismo procedimiento; nuevamente tenemos que los bombillos están encendidos y el reemplazo de la batería ha funcionado a la perfección; si se va la luz, por lo menos tenemos servicio de internet activo. Bueno amigos míos; esto ha sido todo y pronto nos veremos con más material tecnología. >Without placing the cover of the equipment, we are going to test if it works; to do so, we carefully plug the power cord into the UPS and then into the outlet. Immediately we observe that the bulbs light up and when we remove the plug, they are still lit. We disconnect the electrical flow and we place the cover of the equipment, which as I said before is pressurized. Now we have our equipment well covered and we test again performing the same procedure; again we have that the bulbs are lit and the replacement of the battery has worked perfectly; if the light goes out, at least we have active internet service.
