Digo esto; porque hoy les ofresco una literatura destinada al conocimiento de la zootecnia; específicamente en lo que tiene que ver con la cría de cerdos. En nuestro país; es muy común ver este tipo de animales en los fondos de las casas de los diversos pueblos. En nuestro estado Sucre Venezuela, muchos pobladores destinan su tiempo a la cría de animales, entre ellos los cerdos. Todos sabemos que realizar esta actividad es muy agotadora porque requiere demasiada dedicación; y es así, porque tengo conocidos que crían cerdos y otros animales y me doy cuenta de lo difícil que es. Para mí esto representa un arte que va más allá de la cría, hay gente que le tiene amor a los animales y los tienen domesticados. Es raro esto; porque las personas que se dedican a la crianza de cerdos, lo hacen con fines económicos; es sabido que en la época de navidad se consumen muchos platillos basados en ello. Ahora; en este libro aprendemos un poco sobre la zootecnia y debemos saber de ella, porque es una ciencia que nos invita a accionar más allá de solo criar animales; esta ciencia hace que reflexionemos en la forma como las personas se relacionan con los animales, tomando en cuenta que también son seres vivos.
