There is no faith; there is only a division between communism and despair in the face of imminent death. This book is truly unmissable, and I really regret not having read it sooner. Each page generates mixed feelings; we see a tragedy that, in my view, cannot be tolerated, humble people immersed in both armies, entire families destroyed by an ideal that, as I said before, many did not and will not understand; in short, people who only wanted peace to move forward.    Another very important aspect that invites us to analyze this book is that, although it was a Russian civil war, its theme does not escape universal reality. In other words, it makes us think that ideals and ideas for building a new world can lead to the deepest violence, chaos, and destruction, because there will always be a danger that extremists will take the lead in any activity. And it is true that the time comes when one side or the other wins, but is it worth the price that must be paid? This is a question that must be answered by those in power. For my part, whatever the reason, war can never be justified; that is my personal opinion. This is reflected in this section, because it tells us that those who fought did so in a tragic way, as they did so believing they could achieve a better world; many did not live to see it, and if they had that dream, unfortunately they had to live a cruel and violent reality. Lo cierto; es que de forma definitiva, durante esta revolución se perdió totalmente la inocencia; y no solo de las personas, sino a nivel de la nación. No hay fe; solo existe un pensamiento que se divide entre el comunismo y la desesperación ante la inminente muerte; realmente esta lectura no tiene desperdicio y de verdad lamenté mucho no haber leído este libro anteriormente. Cada página genera sentimientos encontrados; vemos una tragedia que desde mi punto de vista no se puede tolerar, gente humilde inmersa en ambos ejércitos; familias enteras acabadas por un ideal, que como dije antes, muchos no entendieron ni entenderán; en fin, gente que solo quería paz para seguir adelante.    Otro aspecto muy importante que nos invita a analizar este libro; es que, si bien es cierto que fue una guerra civil rusa; su temática no escapa a la realidad universal. Es decir; nos pone a pensar que los ideales y el pensamiento por la construcción de un mundo nuevo, pueden llevar a la más profunda violencia, caos y destrucción; porque realmente siempre será un peligro que personas extremistas se pongan al frente del desarrollo de cualquier actividad. Y es cierto que llega el momento de que un bando u otro obtiene la victoria; ¿pero valdrá la pena el precio que se debe pagar?; es una interrogante que deben develar los más poderosos. Por mi parte; sea cuál sea el motivo, una guerra jamás tendrá justificación; es mi opinión personal. Lo anterior se refleja en este apartado; porque allí nos dice que los que luchaban lo hacían de una manera trágica, ya que lo hicieron pensando que podían alcanzar un mundo mejor; muchos no vivieron para ello y si tenían ese sueño, lamentablemente debían vivir una cruel y violenta realidad.
