Good morning, my dear and valued friends of Rising Star. A beautiful day, isn't it? I sincerely hope you're having a great time here. Well, I'm pleased to share a new story I've written for all of you. For this day, I've chosen Stuart, who represents card R617, which is one of the most recently published. In this story, I present an interesting topic that deals with the importance of good communication with others and how we can solve problems with it. So, if everyone's ready, it's time to begin. Let's get started.
Friends, being the conductor of an orchestra carries with it a great responsibility. The person who holds this position in a band or orchestra has the job of directing the musicians, which is why it's vitally important. This person guides the different instrument sections to change the pitch or raise or lower the volume, among many other things. In addition to this, this person is the face of the entire orchestra. Well, this position is held by our friend Stuart in one of the most renowned orchestras in Buskeria. This orchestra is famous because it has played for presidents, official visits from high-ranking officials, and for international guest singers. You could say they've reached the pinnacle of their careers.
Many musicians around the world look up to them and would like to be like them one day. But no one knows that this orchestra holds a deeply hidden secret that they don't want to reveal. Stuart recently gave an interview that sheds light on the orchestra's inner workings. He did so on television. He said that many dream of reaching the top, but don't have a clear plan to follow when they finally get there. He offered the following advice to everyone: It's easier to reach the top than to stay there. With that, he concluded his interview without giving any further details, but leaving journalists concerned about the future of the orchestra he leads and the growing rumors.
Well, the secret the orchestra kept well-kept to appear perfect was that they had a strong internal conflict. To the point that the orchestra was barely functioning, but it could disintegrate at any moment. Sometimes Stuart wonders how they've gotten so far, and you see how fragile they are. The truth is that these internal conflicts within the orchestra have been going on for years, but they've recently intensified. Let me tell you why. It turns out that one of the orchestra's major sponsors had to close part of its business because it fell into financial difficulty. This directly affected the orchestra because they would now have to make cutbacks, lay off some musicians, and generally work harder than before with a smaller budget.
This has generated problems among the members, who have been arguing about who should be let go first and which musicians and team members should stay. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. As I said, there have been tensions that have existed since before, such as some veteran musicians wanting a more prominent role. Many also feel that there is no longer any evolution or purpose within the orchestra.
Because of all these things, it's becoming increasingly difficult to work together for the common good and make quality, heartfelt music. Stuart has been dealing with all of this. He's been working with all of them since the beginning, so it pains him to see how far they've come. He doesn't really know how to cope with this gathering storm, and he's no small feat. Despite everything, he loves them all like brothers; they're almost family to him. Since he has no real power over the company's financial matters, he only saw the option of advising his colleagues and bringing them to their senses as much as possible.
First, he addressed everyone in a private meeting. Only the orchestra members were present. He began by making them aware of everything they had built together and how far they had come. He made them realize that many around the world would like to be in their place and achieve the dream they had realized. After that, he became realistic and explained how this situation was pushing the orchestra's unity to the limit and could lead to a breakup or separation if they didn't do something. Many at that moment recognized that they were wrong in their way of seeing things. Stuart's words opened their eyes and made them realize they were being selfish to want a colleague fired or to be given a better position in the orchestra.
Furthermore, the veterans saw, through his words, that there had indeed been progress over the years, what pride had blinded them to. Before finishing his speech, Stuart reminded them that they had a very important concert in a week. And if they did it right, they wouldn't have to fire anyone because they had signed a contract that slightly improved the financial situation of the company that hired them. But that would only be possible if they united and put their differences aside.
With that, he left them and went home. Some friends and colleagues he knew from the industry called him to share their opinions on the situation. They recommended that he leave the orchestra early so that its negative energy wouldn't affect him as well and consequently lose popularity. In short, they recommended that he look for work elsewhere and leave them to deal with their problems. But he directly told the callers that his colleagues were more than friends; they were family, and he would be with them through thick and thin.
In the days that followed, the situation became much calmer. His words from a week earlier had moved them. So they all let him know that they would put their differences aside and concentrate on their work and doing it well. This made Stuart very happy. Well, between rehearsals, the day finally arrived. And he told everyone that he was very grateful for what they had achieved together in the last few days. That now was the time to prove it. After that, the concert began. It was a complete success. Everyone was delighted. Stuart had undoubtedly done a great job with it. With this success, they could now continue working on future projects more closely and without financial pressure. But it was only achieved through communication. That's what matters.
